I wonder if longer grass at Gayfield might be an issue for us? Dick and at least one of his players commented that the well watered, quick pitch at Lesser suited our style of play. Surely Arbroath wouldn’t leave the grass on the long side to slow the game down?

I did watch it, or as much as possible with the pathetic live coverage. At one point the camera seemed to be following the seagulls! We were dreadful and Peterhead wanted the win more than us, won far too many second balls and deserved the win. I agree with "qpfc" that a major turn round of playing staff required no matter which division we end up in.

Excellent feedback from BYOS. My take on the opening of the rebuilt Lesser was that the timeline for opening was the first league match in August but would not be ready for the cup matches in July.

Questions really have to be asked as to why we are continually losing late goals? We are a full time team therefore our fitness levels should be better than our part time opponents. Both our coaches were defenders (I think) but there seems to be a distinct lack of organisation in defence. Answers have to be found quickly.

Calum Ferrie signed. Looked a good keeper when loaned to Stirling for a year. Should provide competition/back up to Willie.
