  1. Stuart Atwell trying to be smart early on letting clear bookings for Fernandez and Richarlison go. Only to lose the plot at the end of the half. Never a red, god knows why it took him about 3 minutes to make his decision then run straight to the monitor as soon as the red was out.
  2. Bring back Radford, he only needed one post. Never has a thread featured tumbleweed more. Looking forward to whoever we are playing after Saturday.
  3. Night & day from wednesday when we barely pressed a single Motherwell player. Can well imagine Robinson wasn't best impressed by that. Good result.
  4. Can't remember where I read it but following Wednesday night someone suggested we'd be much better off, points wise, if we had Tait in the team. Be as well throwing him in upfront if he's the saviour following a couple of defeats. The same Tait that can't get in the team when everyone is fit & will surely be let go come the end of the season.
  5. He hastily blew on seeing the ball trundle into the net so VAR wouldn’t have got involved in the piece of play. Whether that was a deliberate ploy by Beaton is anyone’s guess.
  6. We were atrocious. I can’t remember us pressing and winning the ball back so little in a game, wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t do it all tonight. Did nothing we had been good at this season. Got what we deserved. Remarkable performance by Beaton.
  7. I thought it was a red card. It looked to me the ball was going across the body of Small into the net and only hit Small as a result of the deflection off Taylor's arm. Harsh as it wasn't deliberate, unlike Ayunga's against Livi earlier in the season, but it definitely stopped the goal from what I could see. We played well enough beforehand and caused enough problems without creating anything. Grieve's chance at 1-0 looked like a certain goal without Carter-Vickers block. Starfelt loses concentration at least once a game, he seems a bit of a weak-link in that Celtic team.
  8. Good crowd. Dreadful game. Best thing to happen in the game was a switch of play by Newell out to the right. Played the pass about an inch off the ground whole way straight to feet. Tremendous pass.
  9. Having heard part of his press conference on the radio last night that’s not particularly surprising. Comes across as a clown. That being said would still expect an Aberdeen win, I highly doubt they can or will ever perform as bad as that Hibs game. Unless the players are sick of Robson already.
  10. I can see no restrictions on territory. Don’t want Doonhame Buddie on the look out for something that isn’t there. https://twitter.com/aberdeenfc/status/1620467400582873089?s=46&t=D773HvHdW9PYnrFBnywprQ
  11. Did Charles Adam not come in last day of the window as well? Similar impact on that season.
  12. Any centre mid in the Premiership would run rings round Tait in that area of the pitch. That is an experiment we can all do without.
  13. Will be glad when Erhahon gets his well deserved move and more money so I can stop hearing about how terrible a player he is and how Gogic is the best at absolutely everything.
  14. I watched the Aberdeen highlights earlier, it was disgraceful the way the players had chucked it yesterday. They were embarrassingly bad, they should be boo'd on to the pitch Wednesday night. Unfortunately they will regain their ability on Wednesday night now Goodwin has gone, notable exception(s) being any player Alan Stubbs rated and signed. Saints win.
  15. Cormack doing his finest Matt Hancock impression with manufactured tears.
  16. Give it to the Football Monitoring Board till the end of the season IMO.
  17. Straightforward win. Motherwell one of the poorer sides in the league. Beaton equally as poor. Thought Marcus Fraser was great second half.
  18. Just shows you there is little between the standard of the Premiership and that of the west of Scotland league.
  19. A ground half an hour up the road where you have a chance of winning, good comparison m9. With QP running away with the league, this is last chance saloon for Dundee to make something of their season, it’s a big day.
  20. From memory I think Snodgrass was involved in that one as well. Need I say more. Halliday tried his best but never a booking.
  21. One of the worst refereeing performances you will see all season, and not just for St Mirren. He was equally as poor for some of the decisions against Hearts. How that is not a penalty given numerous decisions this season & the distance the ball has travelled is beyond me. The linesman is equally, if not more, culpable for that decision. I feared a pumping there from Hearts thinking their first half performance was a blip last week but it seems not. Very unlucky to come away with nothing & I thought every player was brilliant tonight, particularly Taylor, most of whom hadn’t played regularly this season. From a Hearts perspective they were absolutely uninspiring over the 2 games but did what they needed to which is why they are and will be clear in 3rd. The weak link obviously being Halliday who is a tremendously poor footballer but juggling that with refereeing duties will affect performance I’m sure. Wasn’t out the refs ear all night. c**t.
  22. The McGrath Hibs move was August no? & Gogic joined in the January. Presumably it was Ronan loan & Brophy joining permanently.
  23. You will struggle to see worse defending than Charles Dunne for the Hearts goal. Atrocious. Decent point but really should have been further ahead at half time. Hopefully we can muster up a squad to go to Tynecastle next week. Huge miss in Strain depending on the seriousness of his injury. Flynn did well but I wouldn’t fancy him at wing back for a stretch of games. Daft by Fraser to get caught up in the moment after a couple of challenges and the crowd getting up. Will miss him for however long he’s out for.
