From previous elections there’s been a dearth of candidates, as little as one in some votes. So I’d be interested to hear what your proposal is. I suspect I and the majority of others already know what you are getting at. The instability brought about by wholesale changes is exactly what the club is really needing.

It looked to me Hearts changed to a 3-5-2, or a variation of it, in the second half. From memory this season when other teams have played 3-5-2 against us, we’ve really struggled against it. We couldn’t get to grips with them at the start of the second half and the Grieve injury didn’t help our cause. I can recall Motherwell at Fir Park and Killie in the 0-0 game at home matching our formation and us struggling against them.

Great Hearts support and probably the loudest this season, first half. We were so naive those last 20 mins, maybe the lack of experienced like for like option for Grieve cost us as the ball just kept coming back despite being a man up and we’d do daft things on the counter. The ref was atrocious, I previously thought he was quite decent. The Halliday one in first 10 mins was ridiculous, clear as day a booking. Let him off then proceeded to book every other player he could. The red card was baffling, I was sure it would get downgraded. I don’t think it was a penalty, if he hadn’t given it I think it was one of those where he wouldn’t have got sent to the monitor.
