Straight from the retake he lost his man completely and thankfully wasn’t punished for it. Got bullied by Vassell for the rest of the game. Can’t recall the Killie keeper having to make a save today. I hope McMenamin’s injury isn’t serious as I think we badly missed him on Wednesday and then again when he went off today. He does a great job of getting us up the pitch. Happily take the point from today.

Great win and great start to the season. That ref fell for all of Motherwell’s antics and fished out some ridiculous bookings but couldn’t quite help them get the equaliser.

Wishful thinking there, we were a basket case prior to Jack Ross coming in but we offered a manager a step up the ladder. Hibs would be doing the same with Robinson. You’ve mentioned all the success Robinson has had while at Saints, that would give Robinson all the confidence that he could go and replicate that at Hibs on a bigger scale and then move on to even bigger jobs. If not Hibs, then Robinson will have his people touting him for the next attractive job that comes up. We can only hope that he wishes to see out what he has started this season but who knows what the main driver is, likely money in terms of his own wages and playing budget.

Had to check the fixtures hadn’t been rearranged this weekend. Turns out it’s still Dundee not Celtic. If we can be arsed we’ll win not if we are on top of our game. If we can’t be arsed we risk not winning it.

Of all fans to be offended by that picture I’ve always wondered why it is Dundee fans. Every game it seems to work them up to a frenzy beforehand. But when you consider their songbook, naming of a stand, and bending over backwards to sign a new hero off the park regardless of what he does on it in Carson then it all becomes clear.
