I'd have Olusanya watching exactly what Simon Murray did, it seemed like a text book performance against them.

We've not really got close to either Celtic or Rangers this season (possibly the 2-1 defeat at Parkhead), so hopefully we can cause them some problems this weekend.

That was my thought as well watching the Ross County game.  I thought Olusanya did a good job first half at Parkhead at getting us the park and causing their defence some problems, albeit too far away from goal. Unfortunately, Rangers have gone some way to rectifying the issue their side since by benching Goldson. Can only hope he is back for this game but I doubt it.

  2. Agreed on Hemming, he’s been fine but nothing special. Recently, he’s been a disaster waiting to happen at corners flying out clattering into anyone in hope of a foul.

He’s done a job but I wouldn't consider him long term, even if we could afford it, and definitely can improve on him. Nowhere near player of the season, Gogic and Kiltie are the front runners IMO. I would probably plump for Kiltie at that, I think he’s been great this season.

Sorry if this has been discussed previously, but does anyone know why Strain missed the Hearts game? And is he likely to play against Celtic? Another injury?

He was blowing out his arse after 20 minutes against Motherwell, which is a new record for him. Not sure I’d be rushing him back, unless Flynn is the alternative option at right back, given the importance of next few games. Certainly not against Maeda at Parkhead.

No idea if he is injured again but I wouldn’t count on him again for the remainder of the season. As good as he is he’s no use if blowing for the majority of the game.

I agree with this. Can't write the guy off just yet. Bad miss tonight but he did well to get into the position.

There's been plenty of players who have started poorly with us. Bolton, Strain, Olusanya, Ayunga all come to mind. Jamie McGrath was written off as not good enough as well.

Curtis Main too. If we were being reactionary and basing decisions off tonight, majority of the team would have their contract torn up before getting on the bus. Tanser in particular.

    Great or not so great?

Good player and will improve himself and  most likely us if he stays for another season.

However, it looks highly likely that were losing Baccus and losing a slot to develope our own player too and no sell on possibility in that slot.

Even if he left them could we ever afford his wages - I think not.

This is a thumbs up or down vote.

Would be a no brainer IMO. We wouldn’t be able to afford a player of his quality outright so why not take advantage of a loan when as you say he improves us as a team.

Anyone know what the deal is with the pitch? SR mentioned post-match that the pitch in Dingwall will be more conducive to playing football. Ours doesn't seem to have made it through the winter as well than in previous seasons.

Very comfy win today. Haven't watched it back yet but seemed at the time like quite an unusual cross which Tanser fired in for the 2nd goal. Caused chaos in their defence. He's having a great season: likely POTY.

Tanser’s was a shot for the 2nd fortunately deflected off a St Johnstone player as it was going approx 6 miles wide.

  7. St Johnstone similar to Livi I’d say, little redeeming features about their play and team. Worryingly for them though it looks like Livi might be able to muster up a couple of meaningful attacks in game.

Kwon robbed by the ref and whatever idiot in the VAR booth. Mandron got the Curtis Main treatment from the ref today, was getting manhandled every header and got very little all game. It was mostly against Liam Gordon who gave us a timely reminder of how rotten he is. A modern day John Potter.

Diver. Very much in the mould of Martin Boyle; constantly looking to go down. I know winning fouls is part of the game these days but his antics were embarrassing. Is that always how he plays?

He does go down too easily and frequently. Probably has a reputation that proceeds him already. Sangare did similar in the first half in an attempt to get Elvis sent off when he wasn’t touched. It seems to be the way these days unfortunately.

  9. Bit of an overreaction to today. Was a disaster of a result but we weren't all that bad and still created chances, would be more worrying if we just passed it about with no purpose. I think Jamieson made an impact when he came on, albeit against a pretty poor side. I just hope this won't restart striker roulette, I think the right wing position is up for grabs but the other two we haven't better options than Kiltie and Mandron. Could've added 37 mins on as injury time today and we wouldn't have scored. It was just one of those days.

Disappointed with the ref last night.

Think Bolton's booking should not have been and even the var team question the red. Both times he played the ball and both were 50/50s - Dee players reactions were "cheat like" too.

And Toyosi's goal was not that tight yet both officials weren't going to give it.

2 league wins on the spin, let's make it 3

He gave every 50/50 Dundee’s way. There were 2 clear bookings for Shaughnessy, one before the Bolton challenge. I think his reluctance to give Shaughnessy a deserved booking compared to couldn’t get the card out quick enough for Bolton was half the frustration. His stubbornness when it came to the red card summed up his performance. He was atrocious all night and not helped by the linesman on either side as well.

If only referees had a league table as well and could get relegated. McLean would be the Brechin equivalent. Plummet through the tables in consecutive seasons.

  11. Routine win against diddies as expected. Dundee did well to get rid of Cammy Kerr only to replace him with someone just as bad in No.3. James Scott had the beating of him everytime. Wasn’t the worst on the pitch though - Steven McLean comfortably the worst. Shockingly poor performance.

Should’ve won by more. Two games in a row Hemming has had 0 saves to make. He must be bored out his mind.
