  1. Absolutely no idea today. We've some players back and others rested for a few weeks. But it's near impossible to know if we will turn up and play how we can, or will be as bad as we can. Will having not played a competitive match for weeks be a factor? I couldn't predict this until after the first 15min has been played...
  2. End of the day, this thread has been reacting to guesses on what the concerns are, and that they relates to losses that have not been reported and shared yet as the tax year isn't over.
  3. If concerns are about losses last and possible this season, then fair enough. However it was obvious this would happen after we had to pay off two managers and were relegated. Added into this the increased costs on energy and everything else with inflation, its hardly surprising. As some mentioned there is likely having to be some funds from outside the investors to support the works at Rosyth due to the same inflated costs. This will all have set the club and the plans the investors had back 2/3 years. Us operating at a loss for a couple of seasons isn't great but nothing to panic about this early imo. It's right to keep an eye on it but let's not blown it out of proportion, if indeed it is even the concern being raised.
  4. Unless we decide we want to change it again. I'd say let's see how we feel the day before
  5. Nah I think we want this one played and for that reason, the game will be on. Even if storm Dick arrives by then
  6. That's in the Prem. Did well in this league. Defo a step up on what we have.
  7. Well that is news to us all. Thanks for letting us know.
  8. Sounds like a sensible plan. When is the next fans meeting?
  9. Would look cool asf, as long as it was kept clean of course.
  10. Aye the area that was flooded in front of the stand still frozen. That was always the area of concern. Gutted as I wanted to get to the game and it will cost the club more cash on revenue and costs of more uneaten pies and hospitality etc.
  11. Yeah I agree this isn't something we will see massive benefits from within a year or two. It is a long term plan to build infrastructure into the club. The investors are by in large funding it are they not? The community use and sponsorship around that will cover some of the cost of running it.
  12. Yeah something a lot of our own fans don't understand either.
  13. It was hopefully will be on due to the expected temp rise tomorrow and Sat. Didn't read it as likely to be on either I'm afraid lol.
  14. Pretty sure it was said that Fagan-Walcott was a summer target brought forward due to the injury list, with the board asking McPake if he wanted to try get him in now. He is out of contract and the end of this season I believe which leads me to thinking that is exactly what this could end up being
  15. Really is going to depend on the USH being fixed and working to aid defrosting the pitch in time. Its been down minus 6 the last two mornings and barely above freezing. With the pitch having been flooded before that then it's a lot of thawing needed before Sat. I hope it is on. Feels like I've hardly been at East End this season and I'm a season ticket holder. Think I've missed a couple of Saturdays
  16. Did Mehmet get tested last season the same as this? He's just not good enough and if we get our wish of another contender for the no1 shirt, he'll likely be one of the best paid back up keepers in the league. A massive own goal IMO offering the deal we did. 1 year to see how this season went would have been logical.
  17. He might make the squad and then get some appearances off the bench from there on. Easing them into match fitness or not being forced to rush them on in place of another injured player coming off, (Bene @ Ayr) would be not rushing him or any returning players. Everyone knows they won't appear on the bench without suitable recovery on the training pitch, but that's not the end of their recovery.
  18. Go back to school mate. Or ask someone to read the weather forecast for you as its to get below minus pretty much every day from here on and the highs are little above it.
  19. If we beat you, then we are better than Rovers and reclaim the Kings of Fife crown. All to play for
  20. Yeah when players return, they don't seem to hang around long of late. Let's hope that changes in 2024
  21. The burst pipe would be in one area of the pitch. Blame the Ref not us
  22. I parked my car for 3 hours at 5pm last night and had to defrost it at 8pm. It was frosty here last night and the USH won't have been on for some time. Expensive to fix again and so likely will be decommissioned until close season at the least. Maybe our fortunes are turning
