We set up not to lose and so that's on McPake. Mehmet was maybe at the bog when Mcpake said OK let's actually try and win rather than not get beat durong the HT talk, so was still playing the earlier approach.
The game was there to win that first half as they looked nervous, and despite starting well, the set up and not get beat attitude held us back.
Shocking yet unsurprising.

There was a moment on Saturday when a floaty ball in to our box was headed out for a corner or throw in by Benedictus. There were no Airdrie players near him but he didn't get a shout from Mehmet and was clearly pretty unhappy about it.
Mehmet can't control his box effectively enough. He has issues with crosses and teams are clearly more aware of this now.

If the defence can't be confident in the keeper they'll always second guess and look nervous and it shows quite often in games. Some of the shambolic and laughable defending we've seen stems from this imo.

I'd gladly see us use any transfer budget, if we even have one spent on mutually agreeing to end some contracts we have to shift the dead wood out and free up wages.

Sorry I can't agree. Defensively he is also suspect imo. Seen plenty go against him if running at him and get the cross in regularly. He can break it up further up about half way but he can get caught when deeper. Many may not agree but I'm not sure I get all the hype at times.

Aye tbh I'm not bothered if he goes in the summer. I think he's peaked and his wild crossing winds me right up.
