  8. Hi all, hope you're all managing to stay safe and sane in the current climate! At the minute we're working on some new episodes for our project and we're currently putting together an episode about A Shot At Glory. Because Boghead was used as a filming location for a game and other scenes in the film, we're looking to speak to people about their experiences at the "games" that were filmed. If anyone would be interested in chatting about going to the filming of Kilnockie v Dumbarton at the old ground and potentially being featured in the podcast, you can message this account here.

Lots of great memories about a great man - so many that we actually struggled to put them all into the podcast to pay tribute to one of the game's great gentlemen.
  11. Happy Christmas all! We've got another new episode out about the days where games used to be played on the 25th, featuring a few names from the past you may well be familiar with. 12. Hi all, we at Football Memories Scotland have put together a brand new podcast called The Scottish Football Citizen. Each week we’ll be taking a look back at the best of Scottish football from yesteryear covering all levels from internationals to the juniors. We delve into the past looking at players, managers, big games and even the way we were back in the day. We’re looking to cover as much as we possibly can over the next while and feature as many teams as possible. Football Memories Scotland aims to help people with dementia by connecting the past and the present with images, audio and video of football in days gone by. Since starting in 2009 the project has gone from strength to strength and now we have groups up and down the length of the country. Unfortunately these groups haven’t been able to meet during the pandemic but some groups have gone virtual and continued their good work. The idea behind the new podcast is to try to engage with people who have dementia or sight issues during the pandemic as they have been hit hard by events this year – however we’re not just aimed at them, and we want to make a podcast that appeals to anyone with an interest in the game. Our first episode looks back at the 1956 Scottish Cup final between Hearts and Celtic, and we plan to release more in the new year. You can find us on Spotify HERE - and any suggestions and feedback are welcome. Our main site is HERE - we hope you enjoy listening!
