  1. You know..... Something has been bugging me for the past couple of seasons regarding Connor Goldson... Why does he look as if he's holding an invisible umbrella in his right hand whenever he has to deal with the ball? It's either an umbrella or a gear stick....
  2. LOL, what was the ref looking at? Refs in this country wonder why nobody takes them seriously.
  3. Time to ground and pound for the remainder of the half.
  4. Far too many side passes and hopeful lobs into their box. We need one or two players to brave the tackles and try breach their lines and invite the tackles. Might get a penalty out of it.
  5. I hear Benfica are interested in Kamara? If so then it should be 20m minimum just to pick up the phone.
  6. He looks so dejected as a man / manager that he'll soon be praising his players for tying their boot laces and putting their shirts on the right way. He has completely arsed that team. He does it everywhere he goes. Surely it's the end of the road for any idea of him being a manager.
  7. I thought Roofe had skooshed it with his chance late on as I thought Standard would have a sting in the tail but credit to the team they showed character and got the job done.
  8. The three lads went through nautical college in that time so they weren't 100 miles away but they supported the team at Ibrox whenever they were on. I then came along and it was the first dose of football I got so it stuck. I didn't start to learn about the clubs success until I got into my teens proper and as my old man doesn't have a sectarian bone in his body I was never exposed to that side of things or even understood it, still don't.
  9. Passed when I was 18 never looked back since. Getting a car is one of the best things as a youngun. Nailed the theory and hazard but failed my first practical. Examiner had a pus on him that looked like he was raging having been pulled away from his game of Zelda or some shit. Driving isn't as scary as it seems at first. Most of it is being observant and muscle memory. Biggest challenge is dealing with the tools in their w****r wagons who treat their cars like an extension of their manhood.
  10. Grandad and his brother were Hearts and Hibs fans. My dad was good pals/Team mates with a couple of lads from Glenrothes strollers and Glenrothes Juniors who went on to get trials at Rangers. I was born Kirkcaldy so using the local team logic I should be a Raith/Dunfermline Fan ( even though I look out for their results ) But given my dad's connection to Rangers early on and the fact we moved into the central belt it was the first football I was exposed to so it stuck. I think I'm one of the few Rangers fans who enjoyed the journey through the leagues as I loved going to the smaller grounds and taking in the history of the local clubs. When I got into my early teens I fell in love with how Ajax went about their business on the park despite being saturated with Italian football in the 90's. But no club has ever come close to replacing The Rangers as my #1 and only club I follow. It doesn't stop me from having soft spots here and there and admiring certain clubs for how they conduct themselves but Rangers are it for me. I don't subscribe to the idea that you have to be born on the door step of Ibrox with a tattoo on your backside to have the right to call yourself a Ranger. I know a couple of lads who ditched Rangers as soon as we got dropped down to the bottom tier. If I remember rightly one went on to support Spurs and another Man City. Getting all bent out of shape over football team choices is an unnecessary headache.
  11. That looks more like it. Still a good turn for someone who many people wrote off as passed it. Cheers for clearing that up.
  12. Is the 28 goals in 29 starts for Jermaine Defoe correct? Seriously impressive if that's accurate.
  13. Decent first half with a couple of class goals. Second half was a non event as Falkirk are totally toothless. Their #10 needs a membership with Bannatyne. Onwards and upwards.
  14. Dunno who the Falkirk #10 is that's just came on but he looks like he does all his training at behind the wall.
  15. That was wingback to wingback... Top drawer.
  16. Can't imagine there is much of a team talk being had in the home dressing room other than, '' sorry you have to go through this lads ''.
  17. This could be a long night for Falkirk, looking very toothless.
  18. Absolute class from back to front for that goal.
  19. Decent line up. Usually too many changes tends to disrupt the flow of a team but our guys seem to be on the same page no matter who plays. Hopefully Barker and Hagi go through the gears tonight and leave their mark on the game.
  20. I've got a soft spot for Falkirk and the people. I don't think there will be as many changes to the Rangers starting 11 as I'm seeing suggested in a few reports and posts elsewhere. As well as Gerrard has done at the club he hasn't won anything yet so I can't see him taking an attitude with opposition today. Plastic pitches usually give me the boke but this is one of the better ones so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm hoping Bassey gets a solid 90 minutes as I think he'll be a handful for the Bairns. This can either be a 0-4 Thumping or an industrious 0-2. I fancy Itten for first goal scorer if he gets a start.
  21. I'll skip the long winded slavering intro and just say Hi, Gers fan here returning to the world of online football forums after spending a bit of time in the wilderness when a much loved Rangers forum went belly up a few years ago. Really didn't fancy its supposed '' replacement '' as it was a bit PVC glue and sticky back plastic. Later.
