  1. If there was any doubt about how unsuitable Gary Holt is for DOF it's now been completely confirmed. Signing his own son is outrageous! Holt is using money that our fans contribute to the club to help his son who's obviously at a loose end and isn't good enough to be a pro. The signings have been shockingly bad but signing Holt's son is disgraceful and shows that our DOF is putting his family interests before the interests of the club. Please don't buy into this joke of a regime. We don't need it to play out to know it's going to fail miserably.
  2. Well considering he'll be playing in League 1, I don't think any defences in the 1st Division will worry too much about him.
  3. Really not advisable for you to be piss-taking about any clubs hitting the wall, considering Morton can't even afford to pay their players. I wonder how long Morton players can expect to be paid before Gus has to start paying them himself. I hope the SFA take action once that happens again.
  4. Depends when you think it "started to go wrong" (as if it was ever going right), I was calling for M&M to go after the East Fife defeat before the Covid break. You were defending M&M at that stage and remained an avid supporter of them long after it was clear they weren't up to it. So I wouldn't be surprised if you still have a bitter taste in your mouth about the awful way it ended for your Lee and David.
  5. You've probably not recovered from your beloved M&M being sacked yet, that makes it harder to return to the stadium.
  6. Well our fans back the team as well as we can, unfortunately Falkirk are run abysmally which is why we're in League 1. On the other hand, Ayr have excellent people running the club and do well with the resources available to them. Imagine what Ayr could do with the resources of Falkirk, Kilmarnock or Dunfermline.
  7. Ayr fans are amongst the most delusional in Scotland. They haven't seemed to grasp the fact that if you have more fans then you have more money to spend on better players. They should be happy just being in the championship, they do well to be there.
  8. Morton should've been deducted points last season considering their financial irregularities. Poor Gus will need to take a wage cut at some point this season no doubt. A horrible and immoral club, spending money they know they don't have and potentially ruining the financial situation of footballers who need their wages, completely disgraceful.
  9. Well depressingly enough I'm really not sure what sort of club we'll be in 3-4 years time. If we continue to be atrocious we'll be either be bust or be a club like Airdrionians or Ayr. The later is the thing I can quite easily see and is remarkable when you consider the history of Falkirk.
  10. Gary Holt saying the question concerning the teams fitness after the break is "null and void" because we had a turgid win against Montrose in the first game back is quite comical. Just shows the lack of respect he has for the fans and highlights how much of a dimwit he really is. Perfectly good question and he gets spikey with it. I'm glad I've not bought a season ticket, the people involved in the club are not up to it.
  11. Well Telfer is right now the only player I'm confident can help us control games in midfield.
  12. Do you really think Mcguffie and Nesbitt are positive signings? These are the type of signings we've made for the last few years and ended up releasing these players after a year. Buying average players from Morton is not going to work in my opinion.
  13. I think we're still following our formula of failure at the moment, the signings aren't great. You've got to give Sheerin an opportunity, but he's not going to have much to work with.
  14. -10 now, so I evidently was wrong. We've clearly got a Clive Tyldesley in Lewis Connelly.
  15. So he is a puppet, is basically what you're saying there. If he's heavily constricted to what he can say out of fear of losing his position, then he should just call it a day himself, rather than sound like he knows next to nothing about football during the games. I much prefer listening to the commentary in almost every other team Falkirk face, a lot of fans will agree with me on that.
  16. I find his commentary tedious, if he's a volunteer he should have more freedom to express how shite we look during games, rather than try and con the fans into believing we're the team on the front-foot when we we're playing shockingly bad. He seems like a puppet for the club on some occasions.
  17. Here's hoping Lewis Connelly doesn't come home and stays in London for the foreseeable future. I'm sure he can do a fantastic job in commentary with one of the clubs in London.
  18. I think Hibs could be the surprise package next season, Jack Dross made an absolute mess in his second season at Sunderland after his best players left, could easily see that happening at Hibs.
  19. Yeah the cynic in me is saying the same. He came out with stuff the fans wanted to hear there which makes me concerned he could be a puppet. Anyway, the only way you can judge him is on the pitch, you can't lie there.
  20. Not necessarily true, relegation is what nearly bankrupted us. People should remember that if Killie were relegated in 2010 instead of us, they would've faced a financial situation worse than ours. I'm not a huge fan of Yogi's recruitment but he is undoubtedly a fantastic manager and coach. He also get's his teams to play a good brand of football which is nice to think about considering the absolute dross hoof-ball we've endured for 3-years now. I'd be absolutely delighted to see Yogi back again!
