  1. Assuming you have an Android, you can use Health Sync, you can then put the run data across from Samsung Fitness into Garmin and keep track of the mileage you are doing with your trainers. I don't think Samsung have anywhere you can enter the gear you are using.
  2. I had no memory of Derek Adams scoring three hat-tricks against Montrose in a calendar year. For those interested, since 1994 we have scored 38 hat-tricks. Liam Boyce scored five of those, Adams four, Neil Tarrant/Billy McKay/David Winters did it three times. Boyce/Garry Wood (of the blonde variety) and Brian Graham each scored four in a game for us. Some pointless trivia for your Thursday afternoon.
  3. I feel Sonam is taking on the role of Ross Shire Buff quite well. Staggies Archive is good for a read through to remind you of these players who came in for a few games then disappeared into thin air. Brent Sancho for one, two games, no wins.
  4. Yep, played a handful of games for us. From playing with Zidane in the 96 UEFA Cup final, to turning out with Alex Bone. Has been a big advocate for men with mental health issues.
  5. Set a record for the most saves in a league game.
  6. Seems to play through the middle for Mansfield, as folk have said always looked like he had talent, but really struggled when on either side. If they don't get promoted, I imagine he will get a move to a League One side.
  7. I saw the club announcing it, but hadn't realised what had happened. Truly awful.
  8. I think things like this sum up the current state of affairs. Why have we had so much interest in a player who isn't bloody eligible.
  9. The team Mackay formed is incredibly shite. It's not going to be a quick fix for Adams. He's seven games in, two wins, draws and losses in the league and then another loss yesterday. You can write off next Saturday, and then there are two huge fixtures against Livingston and St Johnstone. I think that's when we can have a fair assessment. To touch on @Matty-RCFC point, the lack of apathy has been there pre Mackay, and that appointment just took it to a new level. I sometimes put it down to getting older and having other interests, but all the things you mentioned are quite correct. It's a shite state of affairs.

  11. Adams seems to quite like him in the background, worked at County before and took him to Bradford for his stint there.
  12. That's it! I think there was another shop further up the street as well.
  13. Couple on there at the moment for about £100. What was the name of that menswear shop that sold County stuff upstairs? Opposite the Wimpy I think. With at risk at sounding like an old bloke in the West Stand, the 90s were a great time to support the club!
  14. Certainly bit of an exodus from the Highlands that day. Remember getting a bus that stopped outside what is now Renatos. We always took good numbers in the early 90s, up until the early 2000s really and then it seemed to dwindle off. The last game that I can remember outside a trip over the bridge or to a cup fixture was probably Morton in 2010 where we sold out that stand to the side. From memory David Siegel put on free coaches, he was a really decent bloke. Shame he didn't stay involved with the club longer. On a sidenote one of those shirts sold on ClassicFootballShirts last year for just short of £400.
  15. Yep, certainly not had many better. I don't think his recruitment was ever THAT bad, until the whole Dutch experiment got out of hand. In his first spell he seemed to sign a decent mix of players who were going to be here for the long term, and then some older heads (Petrie & Brewster being two standouts). In that first season back in the 1st Division as it was then, I think we signed RB and Morrison who both went on to be important players for the club for a good few years. Then the following year obviously brought in the likes of McGovern, Vigurs, Ketts, Miller, Wood and got Barrowman in the January. That being said, those players mentioned were all incredibly hardworking which suited his model, it was those who didn't put a shift in who seemed to fall away quite quickly. I'm really looking forward to seeing how he gets on, and what he does with the squad.
  16. Mackay had plenty of contacts, only works if the teams are happy to let their better players head up North. However he seems to have taken in some decent players for Morecambe, imagine we will see a good bit of movement in January.
  17. Morecambe fans seem generally pretty upset that he is leaving, club seems to be in a bit of turmoil over an ongoing sale. Surprised he is coming back once again, but god watching that side around 2010 was one of my favourite times following the club.
  18. He strikes me as the type of bloke who would use LinkedIn to tell the world he doesn't see his family because he is so committed to his job (whatever it might be).
  19. I'm still not sure what he actually does? Which tells its story I guess.
  20. Cowie is incredibly underwhelming, so I imagine it will be him.
  21. “Malky has brought so much more to the club and the wider staff than just football management" He brought a complete level of apathy from a wide number of supporters. It is worth remembering when he was employed, County we were coming out of the pandemic. The "Staggies Army" fundraiser was on the go, with some folk paying nearly £500 for the privilege. Large numbers (including myself) stopped their monthly payment. Others cancelled their season ticket, and MacGregor just doubled down on the appointment. The club never addressed (sufficiently) what had gone on. Mackay himself never sat down and apologised or let questions be asked about it. It was a massively dark period in the clubs history, and that is going to be difficult to recover from. He was a fucking awful manager, the club stumbled to a top six finish, and you knew when the likes of Hungbo/RCC left they were going to struggle. The football was turgid, and it never once looked like improving. Partick's implosion was the only reason the club didn't drop last year. For all of his supposed connections down South, County have signed some complete dross over the past couple of seasons. 10 days until Kilmarnock at home, I'd imagine a replacement is lined up. God forbid it is Cowie, but it seems the obvious choice.
