Steve Clarke is yet to give us a convincing display. We honestly don’t have a clue what we are doing going forward and the defence is a bomb scare.

Why? Most of the clubs from the below championship have an absolute cheek to class themselves professional. They train twice a week like pub teams on the local Astro Park. Yeah there was a bad touch and a poor header and a panicked cross into the box all in a ten minute period. Also right about facing up Sima, who had the physical advantage on him. But I like how he got himself together. What I really like about him is his calmness when facing his own goal and covering his centre back. He never opts to row z it- always uses his body and strength to wriggle and play out from the back . If Clarke has anything about him he should be in the next squad ahead of O’Donnell and Palmer.

His save at the end was unreal. Couldn’t believe it.

To be fair to Patterson he had a rocky period for about 20 mins in the second half and then recomposed himself. He coped remarkably well with the switch of play which must have been an absolute nightmare for him to defend against, especially when being left 1v1 and 2v1. When Sima has the space to run in behind, even EPL players were going to find it a challenge. His tackle in the box around the 75-80 min mark was unreal and then made another great tackle on the edge of the box a few minutes later. So comfortable coming out the back with the ball.

Looked like he had been playing there all season. For a young boy he looked so strong and powerful and bear in mind he was up against Lakaku’s brother who is a unit. Didn’t lose a tackle against him. Time to get O’Donnell punted.

Has this actually been confirmed any where official ? I can only see it on some Wales supporters website. You click a link to the Crystal Palace website and the supposed article only mentions another player. No mention of Banks. No mention on the Welsh FA site either.

They have played 4 games if I am reading that correctly? I think he was also injured for while? Scotland have 3 quality centre backs coming through in my opinion. Liam Morrison at Bayern, Lewis Mayo and Leon King at Rangers.

No we haven’t. We are totally clueless when it comes to attacking. The final ball is horrendous. Said if we go 1-0 down I can’t see us coming back from it. israel just sit in and wait for our attack to break down and counter attack.

We are incapable of putting a coherent attack together. There is no pattern to our play, you just don’t see where a goal is coming from. We can defend ok now but we are really banking on some scrappy goals and keeping a clean sheet.

James Forrest John Fleck Kevin Nesbit Aaron Hickey (possible right back option if continues to make an impact at Bologna?) By all accounts he is comfy on both sides. Ryan Gauld ( great start to the season and now captain) Billy Gilmour Don’t know if anyone else can stake a claim? I bet a few people will start to crawl out the woodwork.

Harry Souttar would fit the bill if the big dick didn’t choose to play for Australia. Playing well for Stoke.

Replace O’Donnell (as he isn’t good enough) with Tierney and Kenny McLean for McGregor, as we need some physicality and height in there.
