  1. I'm a big fan of what Clarke has achieved with the 3-4-1-2 formation in the two play-off games and the two Nations League games in between them (across which we only conceded one goal), but I wonder if a 4-5-1 might have been better against Israel in that last game, when we expect to have more of the ball and don't need to be as cautious at the back. Israel didn't create much besides the goal, which would likely have been defended just as well by a pairing of McKenna and Gallagher. There will be more options for a four-at-the-back formation once Fraser and Forrest return, but Christie could have played left-wing and Burke right-wing in that last Israel game. Chances are the 3-4-1-2 will suit us better at the Euros though.
  2. Curious as to how Burke would perform in Christie's role if Christie doesn't start. He might be the most likely of the other forwards to contribute to a goal - can't see Clarke starting Griffiths or Shankland. It'll probably be McBurnie.
  3. Yes tried to do on the app but wouldn't let me so had to go online Yeah I've just done it now, cheers. I'd try it for Megabus too but I don't think they offer it.
  4. I've set up an alert on the train line for them to email me whenever the tickets for the date go on sale, maybe worth checking out. The website Trainline? Good idea I'll have a look!
  5. Cheers! - Yeah I was thinking three months but I wasn't sure if they'd open up earlier considering the surge in interest. Happy to get a bus or a train if the prices are semi normal. No idea about Covid, just working on the hope that it'll improve. Reckon there'll be many options with supporter's buses heading down?
  6. Anyone have any clue when buses and trains will be available to book? Not sure of the best way to get down there, don't want to pay extra for a non-refundable Easyjet flight right now.
  7. I think the line-up tonight might be Forrest at left-wing, and Armstrong on the right, with Christie or McGinn at CAM. Since there's no established left-winger in the squad in the absence of Ryan Fraser, Forrest is probably more likely than Christie to be played on the left. Armstrong has played well at RW recently and should start.
