  1. What about the Berwick players do they have local boys now? Days gone by it was all Edinburgh boys even trained out in east Lothian.
  2. Friendlies all no fans. On the comittees your only to be let in if you help get the game on not just standing and watching.
  3. Belter for them for sure. 26 December:- Bo'ness vs East Stirling 1 January:- East Stirling vs Bo'ness 4 January:- Bo'ness vs Bonnyrigg
  4. Newcastle Broon I dont mean no credit. But Gala got scudded off Tranent last year. Dalbeattie, Gretna not very good. Penicuik, Kilwinning, Hurlford top teams.
  5. Bonkers can drink at the pub and no even stay 2M away, bingo, swimming, protesting. But football out in fresh air no allowed. SFA on at the government for it, or do they no care as SPL fine for TV cash? Championship, League 1, League 2 will need fans back too even more than most of the little teams with all there wage bills. Let fans back in October or November theyre back in Englandshire.
  6. Kelty vs Auchinleck in the cup. Bazza will want revenge for getting shown up on T.V. last year. And Talbot will be up for it. Gala Fairydean vs Sauchie / Kilwinning, Largs vs Dalbeatie, Hurlford vs Civil Service, Gretna vs Penicuik, Lowland teams could be strugglin to get past them.
  7. Man doing the commentry said it was the biggest draw in senior football since the Scottish Cup in 1893!! Felt like it was never going to finish mind. Missed the start of my lunch and all. Smart idea that they left all the byes in the bowl, gave the First round games a number after 143 and put those balls in. Saved them a bit of time. And saved my lunch. Pollock vs Tranent and Bonnyrigg Rose vs Newtongrange are great ties in First round. Shire vs Spartans, Broxburn vs Medda, Dundonald vs Rob Roy good in Second. Kelty vs Talbot game of the round. Pressure on Bazza to get a win this time. Lurker - must have had NASA on the case if Kelty vs Auchinleck was a fix. I dunno how it looked on You tube but every club committee had a code for the zoom call and so we all watched it live on that. Balls coming out the bowl down one side and vidi printer on the other side. Said the balls draw was in a different location linked by zoom, so the man pulling the balls out maybe didnt even know who had gotten who.
  8. Ok makes sense. Normally sharing the one park is only done on astros. How did it work when Tynecastle and Hutchy Vale shared the Enclosure?
  9. Course now what will happen:- Talbot draw Ardeer and Wigtown put ten past them and were none the wiser until next rounds come round lol!!
  10. March and April long way away but what happens if Dalkeith and Edinburgh South both go thru to R2. Home games but share one park.
  11. Fife paper says St Andrews putting lights up. £20000 by club, £10000 Fife Council, £10000 community trust, £1500 EOS League, £1000 Football Partnership, £1500 crowd funding.
  12. Looks like a great cup and settle some old scores about what league is best. Ok ties are months away but good just to get some games to talk about.
  13. Ardeer Thistle / Dalkeith Thistle vs Dalry Thistle / Larkhall Thistle Berwick Rangers / Cambuslang Rangers vs Kilsyth Rangers / Kilwinning Rangers Blantyre Vics / Saltcoat Vics vs Irvine Vics / Whitletts Vics Bonnyton / Bonnyrigg Rose vs Linlithgow Rose / Crossgates Primrose BSC Glasgow / Port Glasgow vs Glasgow Perthshire / Glasgow University Craigroyston / Craigmark Burntonians vs Burntisland / Ashfield Bellshill / Maryhill vs Petershill / Whitehill Hill of Beath / Hillfield Swifts vs Jeanfield Swifts Newton Stewart / Newtongrange vs Thornton / Thorniewood East Kilbride / East Kilbride Thistle vs Eyemouth / Tweedmouth Edinburgh South vs Edinburgh United / Edinburgh University Johnstone Burgh vs Newburgh / Musselburgh Lochar / Lochmaben v Lochore Lochgelly Albert vs Royal Albert / Hawick Royal Albert Mid Annandale / Upper Annandale v Nithsdale Glenafton / Glenrothes vs Rutherglen Glencairn / Gartcairn St Anthony / St Cadoc vs St Cuthbert / St Rochs Ladeside / Annbank v Clydebank / Vale of Clyde Rossvale / Vale of Leven vs Vale of Leithen / Leith Blackburn / Broxburn v Coldstream / Hurlford Abbey Vale / Drumchapel v Kirkintilloch / Muirkirk Scottish football. No always the most original at team names. Ardrossan Winton Rovers / Lugar Boswall Thistle vs Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale / Shotts Bon Accord Kirkcaldy and Dysart vs Wigtown and Bladnoch Scottish football. No always the shortest at teams names neither.
  14. So it defo was the lights at Kennoway dont work not just not them using them in the juniors? Would make sense they dont look very good in the pictures. Camelon did a game last year with building site lights maybe a club could look at that for temp fix.
  15. Lot of amateur league teams down there but will need to go more than 25 mile to play bigger teams. Same with Berwick and Eyemouth..
  16. 25 miles that must be about get Mussy to Lithgae or Galashiels or DUnbar so plenty of teams you can play. 50 miles would get you to Fife or Berwick or near enough Glasgow and all. Mind on that Pyramid news web site it has got Lithgate v Troon, EK v Stranraer, Forfar v BSC and Troon v Hutchie Vale. More than 25 miles or 50 miles for them but other teams all look local. Could be out of date by now and the games are off. Hard for the Borders team to stick to the limits. Hawick and Coldstream.
  17. Kinnoull never played any games with lights last year. Did Kennoway or was that just being in the juniors? Or are the Kennoway lights not used now? Good that Whitehill are getting lights up as well. Crossgates and Hillfield Swifts then and do they have lights in the pipe line?
  18. East of Scotland website says: - ANY GAMES WITH UP TO 25 MILES ONE WAY TRAVEL - BETWEEN 25 AND 50 BASED ON BRIEF EXPLANATION - OVER 50 ONLY IF JUSTIFIED
  19. Thank you Ginaro. Looking at that other website the lights at Kennoway Star and Kinnoull do not look very big. St Andrews have got lights like them on street lamps poles and not on the list. In the East of Scotland Premier Division Crossgates, Hillfield Swifts and Whitehill no lights.
  20. Great club the Burgh. Matty King a legend at Olive Bank. Heard it was his testominial season this year will he get it next year?
  21. Hearing leagues have slapped a 25 mile limit on local friendlies. 50 if ask for a pass with a good reason. Rest go to committee.
  22. Thank you Ginaro. I did not know Kennoway Star, Rosyth, and Kinnoull had got lights. Can Tweedmouth use the lights at Berwick in the league?
  23. Not stirring just asking!! Maybe you will be looking out for them in the Scottish Cup or South Region Cup when the times comes around.
  24. Makes sense but if you had a choice would you want them promoted into the Lowland next season to get your derby back? Or could you have moved on to bigger fish like the Shire? Hearts are a league under Hibs this year but a lot of Hibbees will miss the derbies. Livingston are in the same league but the rivalry is not in the same league. If you go up to League two you might be two leagues away from Lithgae. I wonder if that has ever happened. I dont think Lithgae will be in danger of going down!
