Gary feels that the commitment required for the role is something he is currently unable to give at this time due to family and work commitments. I think from my point of view . It's hard to protect your players on an amatuer status. But you can't necessarily sign a pro contract for players because you don't have cash. How do you protect yourself as a club

Might be a daft question but do players who sign a professional contract have to be paid

Looking to see if anyone knows how amatuer contracts in the league work. If a player signs an amatuer contract and then decides he wants to leave . Can the club hold the player to the contract? If the player then contacts SFA/WOSL can they then get released even if the club refuse to release? Thirdly if they then release him can he sign a amatuer contract with another side in the west

It's absolutely mental that professional teams are able to make five subs in a game now and we can't . Surely someone has to bring this up at the next league meeting

I am the secretary for a Sunday Team .The reality is thats its hard for me to explain to my team why we arent allowed to play and follow the rules that we were given in August while WOSL teams are . So much so that Bellshill Athletic are advertising playing a game on the Matt Busby 3g which we use for training and games . The majority of our players are early twenties and some are struggling with the mental health issues involved with this . Its laughable that this has been allowed to happen when several teams decided to not play this season - Its essentially for nothing as there are no promotions or relegations . Amatuers this would have been allowed to go on . The fact that Jason Leitch is refusing to answer why we arent allowed to play makes it even more frustrating . In my opinion its should be one rule for all - Theres no difference between us playing a match at the Busby and Bellshill Athletic playing -Its actually ridiculous
