Old Firm Colts in L2
The Resurrection replied to AllyMonc's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
Just out of curiosity, if the Old Firm piss off to a European League ( which they would do at the drop of a hat), would the proposed Championship ceiling be lifted so their B teams can get Premier League money too. -

I stand corrected, if it's in official catch-up then it's a dead cert to happen! -

I hope not! Try telling Kelty they can't come in but Rangers and Celtic Colts get in. The sooner Queen's get away from this nonsense, the better! -
Season a write off?

The schools aren't proposing to test all pupils and staff on a regular basis so it is not a fair comparison. Football should be looked at on it's own merit and not be compared to anything else. If the proposed protocols are deemed safe and achievable then consent should be given and politics and emotional blackmail should not be a factor! -
Worst football catering?

Yes it is overpriced and poor quality. Hopefully at Lesser we can finally be shot of Sodexo and get a local bakery or restaurant to do it. -

Queen's have to go to Elgin on a Tuesday night in April. 20 players and 5 coaching and medical staff going individually by car. Apart from the health and safety issues of tired or injured players driving back, the cost at say 45p a mile would extortionate! Cheaper and safer taking 2 buses! -
Season a write off?

Seems sensible to me. Each Club has received a minimum of 150k from the Government and James Anderson. They surely can use this for testing instead of signing players or extending contracts to 2024! -
£750 per annum. I'd have paid £800.

I'm sure Alloa and Arbroath will be using their 500k Grant from the Scottish Government to pay their part-time players from doing their day jobs to help stop the spread of the virus around the country. -
Leeann Dempster couldn't make it

Scotland has a big Six? Who are they?

New song at the ready "We've won the Cup 11 times"

Decent defender on his day. Hopefully he's not too rusty.
-
Would be more concerned if you got Iain Russell from Pollok, who has done a lot of damage to us in the past.
-
I'm sure our friends at the SFA would do everything possible to help us.

We definitely played in Kendal on a Friday night.

With the figures rising in Dumfries and Galloway, is this likely to be your first and last game of the season. Super jealous though, even if it's one game you get? Hope you enjoy your day but you are not celebrating at the end. On a decent surface, I'm hoping Longridge and Slater start and they produce the goods.

It shows how far we've come. Still unbeaten, 5 points clear and yet it feels like a defeat. We should have seen the game out. The good thing for us is our strength in depth in attacking options should see us continue to pull clear while everyone else takes points off each other in our pursuit. We need a centre half in January. With Grant's hamstring a concern we can't get away with 3 centre halves until May.

In 2020, I believe we have only lost 1 league game but have yet to win a cup tie!

Cowdenbeath v QP

Easiest thing in the world to blame the ref and ignore the failings in your own team. -

It was the referees fault our players were too sharp for your players and they kept giving fouls away. Instead of blaming the referee, try teaching your players when to tackle and when to stay on their feet. -
Thank you for giving us an example of a clueless moron. If Ray turns into one we will now be able to spot it.

Thoroughly professional performance today. -
If you look at the figures then Glasgow is just a few cases over the tier 2 upper level. If we drop a few more cases by Wednesday we would be in the tier 2 parameters. Can't see the Scottish Government dropping Glasgow 2 tiers just before Christmas even if justified!

I believe Leeann's first job is to finally bring the Gretna criminals to justice. I believe she is being aided by one of those at the centre of this stain on the Club's history, who has been promised immunity from prosecution and a new identity. It may be a while before we see Boris again!
