What about sporting integrity? Were you in favour of the ESL? Is this what has happened to our club now that we are Professional? This is my 180th post and never in any of my previous 179 have I ever criticized a QP manager, coach or player. Without integrity, you have nothing in his world.

What has us utilising our squad have to do with the European Super League???

That was our first of 4 games against the other top 5. If we continue to rotate the squad and give young players a chance in our next 3 games, is that not fair?

Eight changes and only two were forced upon use. Not fair on the other clubs trying to get into the play off places. Actually a disgraceful  decision by the manager.

    Total nonsense!

The manager's job was to win the league. Job done!

Next task is to assemble a squad for next season in league 1. He can play the likes of Biggar and Heraghty and assess their progress knowing any mistakes won't impact on our main objective which has been achieved. Don't forget these fringe and young players don't have any reserve games to get match experience.

I don't give a toss about the other teams, neither should our manager. Our Club is his only priority!!!

Michael Doyle for me, closely followed by Peter Grant. Undecided for my 3rd place

So many contenders, Grant, Doyle, Muir, Kilday, Gillespie, Lyon, Quitongo.

Even the guys like Paterson, Murray and Morrison who have been limited in appearances have come in and been brilliant.

    Total squad effort!

Fair play to Queens, clearly the best side in the league and deserved champs.

Must feel a little soulless doing it this way though.

You do realise that the competition is called the Scottish Professional Football League? It is every club's aim to generate as much money as possible so they can plough it into their squad and get as high as you can.

The only Club that historically never adhered to this was Queen's Park. With the pyramid system we took the decision to protect our senior league status by turning professional. Since that decision all we have done is become like every other club. I can't believe the hypocrisy from the supporters of other clubs! Can you imagine the protests against the Board if a Club turned down significant investment without conceding ownership.

All the adverse comments on here from other clubs supporters is nothing other than petty jealousy!

Looking at the post split fixture list, if ourselves and Falkirk finish first they have already said our first game would be on the Friday night.

Not clear what happens on Thursday 29th when ourselves, Falkirk and Stenny (if they finish 5th or 6th) would be at home

Hopefully the club announce a venue soon so that we can rule it out.

Would we not just play at Falkirk on 2 consecutive Friday evenings if both Falkirk and ourselves are top at the split?

  6. Lyon and Gillespie are superb quality n the middle and will run all day. Same with Doyle and Paterson/Robson. The work ethic of the players this season has been exemplary.

The least fans demand of their team is they work hard for each other. We certainly haven't been short-changed this season. Full credit to the coaching staff for motivating them to do it.

Just seen it announced there will be no fans allowed in for the Scot Cup Final. What work is actually getting done to Hampden for the Euros?

Could there be the opportunity to let us in for our final home game as some sort of test event?

    The SFA don't want us!

There is no way they would give us anything.

Whether it’s ready or not for the new season, our final home game this season when we get to hoist the champions flag won’t be at our new home.

I know it's been 21 years but do you not raise the Championship flag at your first league game of the following season?

You’re a committee member aren’t you? Haven’t seen that many exclamation marks since the Gretna Six went ballistic.

I wish I was then I would have a chance of being there.

Christ knows what would have happened under the Gretna Six President, the watchers on the hill would probably have been gunned down by a machine gun. Might have sold a few t shirts😊

    Oh well, too late now.

Calm doon, they didn't pull the plug after thousands of Rangers fans rampaged through George Square. I doubt they'll give a f**k about 4 or 5 QP fans  looking over a wall at Coatbridge

Both are illegal, selfish and bloody stupid!!!!

Noticed some of the faithful up on the hill celebrating the goals. Heard a handful headed through. Quite a few Rovers fans there as well

Also noticed on the live stream our players went across to applaud them at full time. Nice one

Extremely disappointing! The last thing we need now is for the Government to pull the plug as football fans continue to break the rules for their own selfish reasons.

I supported the Club, I obeyed the rules like the vast majority of our fans and watched from home.

There were two others; Project Management & Construction Ltd and Redpath Construction Ltd. both Glasgow based. Oddly, the groundwork’s contractor, GGK Contractors from Currie appear to have been appointed separately from Bell Building Projects. All other subbies are sitting below Bell.

Holmes Miller are limited to just Architect, probably both as planning and design stages. Gleeds are appointed for both Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor. For those who don’t understand that, they would have been responsible for the pre-order cost plan as PM and the delivery cost as QS.

Correction to earlier; construction contract is 9 months not 6. Value is £2.6M. Programme commenced Aug 20 and is due to finish May 21.

    GCC planning application 19/03435/FUL

Was there a CoW overseeing the project on behalf of the Club?

Well someone needs to be punished and it will certainly not be them. It's time the police enforced the law. In my view there should be an announcement that any large group breaking the Covid restrictions will be cleared by the use of water cannon.

Are we the only country in the world that doesn't have tear gas or water cannons? If the illegal gatherings are a threat to public health then they should have been broken up.

Tutting on Twitter isn't any deterrent!

Everyone would be involved.  Two groups of 5 after the split and you play all the other teams so 4 games.

    Epic maths fail by me!

Yes but in each round of games a team would sit out. You could have the ludicrous scenario going into the last week that teams in 3rd, 4th and 5th place are all on the same points with the team in 3rd place finished their regular season. The teams in 4th and 5th could have a week to know that a draw puts them both in the play offs.

It's no good saying " it’s up to you SPFL ...". The clubs ARE the SPFL: it's not some disembodied entity.

BTW the SPFL board wanted the power to make these sort of decisions, but the clubs wouldn't let them.

Is this the same SPFL that shut League 1 and 2 down with zero consultation?

First it was just a few players in an Aberdeen pub.

Then it was just one player nipping over to Spain.

Then it was just a couple of players at a party

Then it was just 60 players and staff flying 4000 miles for a piss-up by the pool

Then it was just a few players at a party.

    Then it was just...

.....avoid hammering those involved and shutdown any sacrificial lambs we can find....the lower leagues will do as we really don't give a f*ck about them!

Society are not being told to isolate, they’re being told to minimise contact.  You have no clue what you’re talking about so I’ll refrain from engaging with you any further.

No they are being told to stay at home unless for essential purposes. Going to a house party isn't an essential purpose.

Under Rangers Covid-19 protocols, I'd expect them to continually reinforce and remind players of what they can and can't do.
