  1. By god, hangover is still rife but I’ve brought myself to read pretty much from page 25-now, what a day. Some atmosphere in The Shed pre-match, do love it there beforehand. I was honestly absolutely fizzing at half time, I know this stuff is obviously pre-arranged but having folk on at half time paraded is really brave, when theres a fair chance we could be getting beat. Felt in the 1st half we were poor but did always feel like we had goals in us, fair fucks to Patterson, I wanted him subbed off after about 20 mins and I was very angrily remonstrating this from my seat, suppose it shows what I know, he improved loads. Saw a few negative posts about McTominay but the way he carried the ball out and drove us forward was brilliant, felt him and McGinn were our strongest performers, fitting that they got on the scoresheet. Mentioned already but McCoists reaction on commentary is amazing, I would pay good money to hear him commentate on anything, what a fantastic human being he is. “Aw come on listen to this place, absolutely tremendous, absolutely magic.” You spend thousands every year on tickets, transport, pints (mainly) and food to see the football and most of the time it’s pretty sub par, average at best but every once in a while a day like this comes along that makes you remember why you do it. The smile on my face won’t subside for a few days like, at least until Tuesday anyway. Going to now watch Friday’s A View From The Terrace and have what remains of my hungover dominos I got delivered earlier. Big shoutout to: • The Specky guy with a Scotland flag face painted on him that went to the shed by his self and spent his day going around pestering anyone who looked at him. • The Celtic fan sitting next to me who was brave enough to get his phone out and video the corner in the 94th minute, very bold, that must be some video. • The boy on the N900 back to Edinburgh that got off at the airport and paid a taxi home instead of just staying on the fucking bus cause he needed a pish. • The guy that lifted me off the deck after I ended up on my arse celebrating McGinns goal. • My mate who decided to try and kick a cone after the game (don’t know why tbh, virgin patter) only for him to go over on his ankle and is now needing to head to A&E tomorrow morning.
  2. Unfortunately regarding Doig he’s been similarly underwhelming domestically too, hopefully he turns it around soon. Although in fairness it didn’t help that pretty much every pass played to him was miles too far in front of him, should have done better with the goal tho.
  3. Dear me that was a weird match. Some of the Danish players had composure that we just couldn’t match. I know for a fact some of the players in our team are good, because I’ve seen it at club level but none of them looked like they’d seen a ball before. Definitely on board with the “Get Gemmil to f**k” shouts on here. 4-4-2 with 2 midfielders up top, bringing on a striker at 1-0 down and playing him out wide, utterly bizarre. We only had 2 shots on target and both were from distance, probably won’t be making the effort to go back to a U21 game again tbqh, that was guff.
  4. Debated whether to play McTominay at all but Hendrys performances in the middle of a back 3 for Brugge give me some confidence. 1-0, Dykes with 5/10 mins to go.
  5. Anyone else heading along to the U21 game tonight? Went to buy tickets online and the site is trying to charge me £3 in fees for 2 x £8 tickets? I know it’s only £3 but that’s increasing the price of my ticket by 37%, what the f**k is that all about? Will just buy on the gate instead.
  6. Haven’t you heard? He’s been banned for a year for his disgusting reckless tackle on oor Joe Aribo
  7. After that car crash of a thread from Sunday’s game, I sure as hell am I excited to see how this one goes.
  8. You didn’t say bids, you said “shown any interest.” Milwall were also in for Allan Campbell, does he come under the same category?
  9. Another swing and a miss from an ignorant Rangers fan, quel surprise! https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ryan-porteous-queens-park-rangers-24009575.amp https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/7237079/galatasaray-preparing-transfer-bid-hibs-ryan-porteous/amp/ https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.edinburghlive.co.uk/sport/football/besiktas-join-race-ryan-porteous-20808003.amp
  10. Switching from 4G to 3G can often help I find at half times etc. Although would rather no time was put into a fix for this tbh, appreciate most of the posters on here probably only want it sorted so they can check other scores at half time but there’s nothing worse than being sat near folk who are on their phone during the whole game, watch the game ffs.
  11. Yes, I am because I’m not an ignorant, arrogant supporter. If I wasn’t, I would simply just not share an opinion online on a player I have only watched play 3 times per season because I wouldn’t know enough about them.
  12. Or maybe old firm fans should pay attention to clubs other than their own from time to time.
  13. Exactly what I said, 2 red cards in TV games against Rangers.
  14. I’m not sure what you’re getting at, the numbers are correct.
  15. Ryan Porteous, “a reckless thug” or whatever you like to call him has had a grand total of 2 red cards in his career in the SPFL in 78 appearances. By ways of comparison Ryan Jack has had 7 in 279 games, Danny Swanson had 6 in 212 games, Martin Canning had 6 in 129 games, Barry Robson had 7 in 200 games, Eggert Jonsson had 4 in 134 games, Sol Bamba 3 in 98 games. Are they all reckless thugs aswell? If Porteous’ reds hadn’t both been televised and had a few Rangers fans tweeting Nicola Sturgeon asking for her to condemn the tackle then his reputation would be completely different. Red today was totally based off reputation, it was a lunge, aye but he didn’t fucking touch Aribo, he’d also have got sent off if he started boxing him, but I’ve never seen a red card for someone boxing fresh air. Folk that don’t watch him every week claim he’s shite but he’s just getting better and better, tough one to take for him today but I look forward to having him back in the team, he’s a smashing player.
  16. Shelley Kerr is quite simply an idiot. And it’s Nisbet not Nesbitt, it’s not difficult.
  17. Just sent over an email to Hibs’ Fans Rep to pass this on. Don’t expect this to make a difference because the SFA will do it anyway but doing everything we can to make it clear as supporters that we don’t want it is all we can do. I would also vote in this, although it’s ran by a fanny it’s a supporters organisation that’ll be quoted for soundbites if it goes the wrong way.
  18. I’m sure there will have been threads on this before but with this coming out this afternoon, I’m wondering what people’s views are on this? Personally, a resounding absolutely fucking not from me. My reasons are a few of but not limited to: • More disallowed goals, meaning more low scoring games. • More penalty’s, the most boring type of goal your team can score. • Being feared to overcelebrate a goal because you’re worried it’ll get chalked off. • Loads of confusion in the stands anytime anything is being looked at • More stoppages and delays in games Lets hear your thoughts, poll attached.
  19. Anyone have any idea when the Meadowbank move is likely to happen? All I can find online is an article from a couple of months back saying the target date was the 1st of November, is this likely to be the date? Made it along to the Elgin game but Ainslie Park really isn’t well located and I would like to go to more games but it’s just a bit of a pain in the arse to get to, having said that, planning to go to the Kelty game.
  20. I know this was posted from a conspiracy theorist detournement moon howling perspective but could it just be that having everyone locked up in their homes for 18 months, eating takeaways and watching Dancing on Ice could have a detrimental impact to their health? And it’s 0 surprise that it appears to be in the least affluent part of the country too, the social problems we have in this country are devastating.
  21. Yeah I suspect it’ll be more of an inspection of documentation/screenshots rather than anything heavy, I think tbh anyone that has anything that looks like it’s proof will be fine. Personally in a situation where I’m double jagged but it was less than 2 weeks from the game so I won’t be “fully vaccinated” so I’ve just got a mates PDF in case I get checked. I would be very surprised if anyone is refused entry if they have at least something that suggests they’re double jagged, regardless of whether they are or not.
  22. 2nd banger of Moderna just penetrated into me. First one hit me like a bus so hopefully this is more like a Mini Cooper. Mentioned before I won’t be “fully vaccinated” in time for Scotland Israel but I have one of my mates’ vaccine passports on my phone in case I get checked but by the sounds of things it’s gonna be a total shambles and I probably won’t get asked anyway.
