Suspect Celtic and Rangers games will be played in the late afternoon/early evening because Premier Sports will pick them. That leaves, I would assume; two lunchtime slots for the other two games live on BBC. The only spanner that could be put into the works is if Celtic and Rangers both manage to win in Europe as they’d have European games the Wednesday before. Suspect they’ll put Celtic on the Sunday and Rangers on the Saturday as they’re more likely to progress. Fingers crossed for the Saturday slot for Hibs, fed up of being fucked over by TV picks this season.

Pretty pleased with that, we played well, a lot better than I was expecting. Like the look of Henderson, definitely the pick of the signings. Very unconvinced by Rocky/Jasper though. Stevenson surprisingly good in the middle of the pitch, a much better option than Campbell. I’m sure my renewed Maloney hope will be dashed when Ross Callachan hammers one in against us on Saturday mind you.

The guy went over to them and said “that’s time” or something to that effect, incredibly strange one. Quite enjoyed the game, especially the second half, had a lot of pace to it, Michael Travis was outstanding and was impressed by John Robertson, he hadn’t impressed me in games I’d seen him in before but thought he looked great tonight before he got injured.

Heading along tonight. First City game since the Kelty home match, hopefully don’t get as cold as I did that night but I won’t hold my breath. Be good to see if Jack Brydon plays, think he’s fairly well thought of.

As AJF says he does have the odd moment where he fucks it up but he’s without doubt the best footballer we have. If he was as shite as some Rangers fans make out then he wouldn’t live in as many Rangers fans’ heads, such as yourself clearly.

As expected, zzzzzzz Sylvester Jasper doesn’t look good enough, fair play to him for being positive and trying things but he canny pass or cross. Down to 8th in the league. We are in serious trouble.

An Aberdeen fan made a similar point in another thread, the two clubs are in hugely similar situations right now. Honestly can hardly contain my excitement for this. Due to Hibs being complete keek at the moment I’m channeling all my football based enthusiasm into this game, hopefully it doesn’t go the same way as my club are! Got the week off work in the hope we make it to the final, if we don’t it could be a depressing few days in my flat.

I’ve booked flights for Armenia, not fancying any of the other 2 trips in honesty. Route is Edinburgh-> Copenhagen -> Riga -> Tblisi, believe it should be then cheap to either fly from Tblisi into Yerevan or get a train alternatively. Not booked a flight home yet but I’ll work that one out. Anyone any experience of Riga airport? Only have an hour and 10 minutes between arriving at the airport and needing to get my next flight. Excited for it, a part of the world I probably wouldn’t have visited otherwise and it’ll be nice to get to see it, the weather, as much as it may not help the team it makes for a pleasurable experience when we are there.

f**k me that was brutal yesterday. I have so many concerns but I think the biggest one is the amount of folk saying that we should have kept Jack Ross. Even if Maloney does turn out to be a bad manager that doesn’t make Jack Ross suddenly a better manager. The football on show was absolutely eye bleeding and we continuously lost big games, twice to St Johnstone at Hampden and his recruitment was pretty dreadful, I do feel incredibly sorry for the next set of fans that he inflicts boredom on.

Win the title - Anyone other than the Old Firm and Hearts, probably dislike Celtic least out of the three due to their overall fans’ political views aligning more with mine but that’s another debate Qualify for Europe - Don’t mind the Dundee clubs so would be fine with either, soft spot for St Mirren, Motherwell are a sound club also Finish top 6 - see above really Go down - Old Firm and Hearts for obvious reasons, St Johnstone because it’s the worst away day in the league and I’m fed up of them beating us and throw Livingston in there too for the pish away trip reasons.

Just seen the highlights. The Stevenson handball is probably a penalty by the letter of the law, Cba with the whole VAR chat we’re about to be inflicted by, if there was VAR Hibs would have got extra time in the League Cup Final, I would still have rather lost than have fucking VAR, chat in the bin please. Dabrowski saves were a lot better than they looked from our seats, if Matt Macey plays, we lose that, simple as, been calling for him to play for months, hope to f**k he keeps the jersey now.

That was absolutely fine, was expecting the worse and made a fair financial loss lumping on Hearts but delighted to be doing so. Was basically a battle rather than a game but I am pleasantly surprised to see that the team has a set of balls, somewhere deep within but it exists. Where are the “Ryan Porteous is a reckless thug” brigade now? Not hearing much from them, boy was a head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch and like others have said, he’s probably the most talented out of every player we saw today. If it hadn’t been for that late Campbell chance where I thought we’d won it I would probably be feeling a whole lot better but I’m a whole lot less depressed and concerned about where we’re going as a club after that, we were absolutely fine, no more, no less, but I expected an absolute hammering.
