From what I understand the "legal case" has all been about the validity of the vote to end the season - mostly over the suspicious circumstances around the Dundee vote and what Hearts and Partick aim to do is to nullify that vote, meaning they are still in their previous divisions.
Is it viable that Hearts/Partick win the case but the SPFL then call a new vote of clubs to end last season - rectifying any procedural errors that caused the previous one to be invalid? With a No vote at that point causing all sorts of logistical and commercial disruption it would become even more of a landslide victory for Yes, wouldn't it?
