Who even uses that term ffs. No proper professional club in the higher tiers should be asking like this openly it smacks of desperation. Ek are a basket case of a club run by a odious pair playing in a terrible ground and want to move into a pie in the sky stadium in an even worse location where they'll be lucky to get 200 fans of curious locals and or old firm fans with nothing else to do. Like bsc who this season coming will be a shadow of the team they were last season they should have stuck to youth football and do what they did best instead of ever having got involved in mens football where they don't belong they have always made a mockery of non league football and a fool of themselves . If they disappeared off the map tomorrow very few people would care or notice and any supporters they do have would just move onto an interest elsewhere without to much emotional distress. Thats the real life reality even if the anorak's on here think otherwise.

This October 2nd for non league is totally unrealistic where its coming from god only knows. If we keep seeing weeks of little or no deaths and a low case count which will rise hopefully only a little with lifting of lockdown fully then tier 2 will be able to start then under closed doors mid october with clubs meeting the requirements to play games. We have to be ultra conservative here to prevent a second wave and problems in the winter even if by some miracle non league games are played in october the big percentage of over 60s who follow this level you'll see a decent amount of them body swerving these games for a while its just not worth the risk for many of them. If they have half a brain or the families do thats what the attitude will be. Tier 2 have adopted the sensible approach 9 less games unlike the hapless new west of scotland who have agreed to 8 more games in what would have already had been a big league fixture season under normal circumstances. Any talk of splitting up the league and messing about with the format would just make things even more of a shambles. All because a jumped up village team threatened to take legal action in turn making season 20-21 a total right off for the proper big non league clubs in the west premier not forgetting they got caught breaking the law in a pandemic. The total silence from this new committee on how that is being dealt with is shocking but when you start off buckling to a disgrace of a club within two minutes you have lost any power you had right away.

Good luck guys can see you being a big player in the east juniors next season great local boys getting a chance at newtown park also , possibly give some of the west big guns a run for there money. My understanding is numerous clubs have given excellent positive feedback on being able to compete in the premier non league in the country which is great to hear. Brilliant comments from Mr McKenna and excellent news on the appointment of a new vice President. A new era begins with the backing of proper clubs with a backbone who recognise the value and name of our historic cup competition. The small minority most under new questionable 'leadership ' will forever go down as traitors to the history of the clubs they now dictate at.

When will the penny drop with everyone sure it already has with a few already but not nearly enough. The non league juniors have invited themselves to a party that they were not invited to. Any chance the hosts get to have the least amount of gate crashers at the party they will take it gladly until they totally shut the doors for good. The farcical associate member tag designed to make clubs feel good about themselves but the reality is its a nothing tag with no power. Clubs have been sole a dead duck many have already spent a fortune with many more planning to all for noticing that will play out in time.

All these naive small non league clubs buying into a cup and organisation that is totally incompetent and will continue to shaft them . If it wasn't so tragic it would be funny.

Great news that 53 west junior clubs have kept a junior membership bringing the total participants in the junior cup to 113. Really good news a real sign of all the clubs who value history and heritage run by people to be respected. Make no mistake about it the flood of clubs is not welcome everything will be done in the future to curtail numbers and participating this is just the beginning. The associate membership is farcical to make clubs feel good about themselves but in reality give them nothing in terms of a voice . No playoff next season due to time constraints thats next on cards. Darvel ground is a small ground with a tiny stand, a hospitality area one fancy changing room and a pitch that after a game or two in bad weather is like a cows field unlike several other teams in the premier league teams who year after year produce great surfaces incidentally teams that have earned the right to be in the league and not got into the league through legal action. Numerous times through the years clubs have thrown money to get success none of them have done it with this level of cringeworthy attention seeking . This comes from the top the pieman and the amateur manager must be fine with all this nonsense when any other proper football committee and manager would be nowhere near this circus. These aren't proper junior non league men its a clueless more money than sense chairman, a amateur manager with a ego who was disliked big time in the amateurs, johnny come lately two minute darvel 'supporters ' and glory hunting fans from years ago who where nowhere to be seen for decades during the tough times and have came crawling out the woodwork. Its all a charade scratch the surface and its all a disaster waiting to happen. Btw the naivety of this level is clear when they think the people they have signed are 'big names ' anyone around longer than two minutes at this level can reel off proper big names who have had spells at this level not players who are big names in own household and thats it. What's important and it was obvious to a blind man the context you were referring to was recent times is he is a big time MODERN day striker what strikers from 40,50,100 years ago have to do with anything god only knows. The squad they have now is defiantly poorer and with seven going down they will undoubtedly fill a relegation place which is no suprise as they have rarely been in a top flight of any set up for twenty odd years now.
