  1. I‘m not asking you anything? You say you’ve gave your opinion on why you don’t think it was a red (Sima came from Johnstone’s blind side) and I am giving my opinion on why I think Johnstone should’ve been sent off (recklessly catching Sima with an elbow). Not a question. Can you provide a clip of the Sterling challenge and I’ll give my opinion on it.
  2. Ignore the blurb in the tweet about Walsh as it’s a load of waffle, but this clip clearly shows Johnstone throwing out his elbow, catching Sima and ending his game. It’s reckless and a yellow card every day of the week.
  3. This is what you said about Johnstone You are literally trying to blame Sima for catching an elbow to the head that resulted him in failing the concussion protocol
  4. I literally just conceded that the replay shown before doesn’t make it seem as obvious. I still believe he is late into the tackle though after Goldson played the ball. So your defence of Johnstone escaping a yellow is to reference another incident? Cool. Better than your “he came from Johnstones blind side” argument earlier
  5. I’d say this angle is probably more inconclusive than I first thought. At the time it seemed as though Bernardo was late, with Goldson playing the ball and his right foot stamping down onto Goldson’s left boot. Maybe not so much on that viewing but still second to the challenge. Still need to hear a defence of Johnstone escaping a second yellow as well. Thats by no means the reason we lost, but Celtic should’ve had at least 1 red card today IMO.
  6. I’m sorry but the Bernardo tackle is as clear as a second yellow as you are likely to see. And you’ve described Sima getting an elbow to the head as “Sima jumping in from Johnstones blind side”. You’re no real man.
  7. Correct. Bernardo and Johnston should’ve been off for second yellows.
  8. Well that’s kind of my point. The Bernardo one was as clear as a second yellow as you’re likely to see. The Johnstone elbow sent Sima off with a concussion, but you don’t think either were a second yellow?
  9. Not particularly, no. I don’t think that should impact on the fact that both Bernardo and Johnstone should’ve received 2nd yellow cards. Should it?
  10. This is the least surprising news ever I dont think it’s a case of excuses, but when we have a player going off because he failed the concussion protocol says it all. You should’ve been don’t to 10, without a doubt. Thats not to excuse our failings at all, because we simply weren’t good enough. But you just ignoring it is a joke.
  11. False equivalence. Both Bernardo and Johnstone were on a booking and should’ve been sent off. The one on O’Riley was hardly a sending off offence.
  12. Not a single argument against them as well. Celtic should’ve been down to at least 10, but let’s just gloss over that cos you won
  13. Bernardo second yellow? No Johnstone second yellow? No Unreal man
  14. I tend to find The Duck Test is a good barometer for these kind of things.
  15. This accurately portrays many people and I hope it’s a wake up call for them
  16. Aye, we will struggle to replace his numbers. Although I’ve read that Fabio Silva can play wider so maybe his signing has been made with a view to cover Sima for a period if we anticipated he’d be away.
  17. Sima selected for Senegal for the upcoming African Nations Cup. Could miss up to 5 matches for us depending on how far they progress.
  18. First one that springs to mind. Defoe v Livingston: Such an aesthetically pleasing goal to watch the way he takes it in his stride
  19. I’m glad we’ve done some early business that will allow him to come in and find his feet during our winter training camp. Maybe even an appearance against Killie prior to the winter break as opposed to scrapping around last minute in the window like we often do.
  20. Certainly not in January, but in the summer, maybe. I mean, we reportedly paid £5m+ for Danilo. Saying that closer to £10m for Shankland is unrealistic is not the same as saying we could afford him.
