United have won the Scottish cup twice in living memory, they've been in a European cup final and won the Scottish League, they've made more money than outgoing transfers and have a slightly higher average match-day attendance.

As I'm sure most United supporters will happily tell you they've also got a 100% undefeated record against a certain Spanish superclub.

Without calling in an expert on Dundonian football history I'm just cherry picking facts here but it's hard to find an argument that Dundee FC can better that. Even Lee Wilkie bailed for the tangerine half.

Interesting to learn Ross County made the cup final. That's wild.

I'd like to think that my depressed post on here at half-time, coupled with my 45 minutes of screaming abuse at my computer screen at various players for being useless fucking c***s, inspired that turnaround in the second half. A possible alternative explanation is that I'm an excitable fanny that should give our players and manager a little more leeway, considering how well the season had gone thus far until last week.

I was there when we went 6-0 up against Meadowbank after about 35 minutes sometime in the 90s, but Meadowbank were known to be utter pish then and we had players like Tommy Burns. Can't think of another game where we've scored so many goals in such a short space of time. That arse collapsing by St. Mirren was spectacularly inexplicable.

It was an epic meltdown deserving of praise.

Huge match against Hibs next week.  Any sort of points from there and we have to go to favourites for top six.

Great to see Tiffoney get two goals but he is still showing signs that his final ball and decision making is going to have to improve. Lets hope today kicks him on. Start him and Costelloe again next week and see what they can do at The Hibs.

Massive matches coming up all over the shop in what should be an exciting end to the season. All whilst Captain Birdseye does his best to wreck guaranteed promotion over the road.  Get them up and funding our revival IMO, that's of course if we play them at Dens before they're officially relegated or thereabouts in which case the flooding from the miniscule away support may be the final nail in the coffin for the historic Dens Park as we move onto pastures new to kick on from our skint rivals. If Utd get promoted they are absolutely fucked and I'm looking forward to taking them to the cleaners on their own turf. Wonder how large the Tony Watts waistline will be by then - been taking tips off Granny Danger on genral slobbiness.

For those counting the points gap from the bottom it's time to back these players who hold so much talent. Carson, Beck, Cameron, McCowan, Donnelly, Mellon and Sylla - these aren't our usual bunch of jobbers  in Dark Blue. We have a talented squad who can get us top six; let's get behind the cuntos for the remainder of the season.

As for the Perth looking in, how's the 'genuine top six chance' calls of last week going you deluded morons. They were told how the results would go but wouldn't listen. As I often do looking ahead to other teams fixtures you can see where points will be made up but pie chart man has the foresight of Ray Charles.

    We move on.

    Thank you.

lol... This post is awesome in so many ways. Tip of the cap to you, sir.

Herbs (or is that just Californians that can't 'h'?) saying it again as this annoys me, especially if the culprit looks like a hipster.

Any Scottish Gaelic word, especially those with ch

The word Loch is a giant hurdle.

They have great difficulty in saying the name of our favourite sport and call it something that could be a dogs name. So football.

We didn't come up with the word. Blame the English.

What a fucking surprise. Week 4, and already the Chargers injury report looks like the opening crawl from a Star Wars movie.

Welcome to the new year, same as the old year.

Most amusing part is seeing no less that six defensive starters on it, when the entire unit hasn't managed to make contact with a single opponent yet.

    Yeah, that's pretty grim like.

Will this lead to segregation? Or should there be segregation in the US?

    Thoughts please @AmericanFan.

It won't lead to it, and I doubt we'll ever see segregation here.

Fights at NFL games aren't uncommon, but they're rarely insanely violent and involving more than 2 or 3 people.

My dad, brother and niece went to the Bears game in KC last week and said it was a pretty tame crowd.

I've never had issues at NFL games before, but I don't get hammered and talk sh**, either.

Closest I've ever come to any issues was at a college conference championship game when I was in school. But it was after the game on the concourses when Oklahoma fans were being ridiculous gloating about their win.

Rangers - Cleared out some dead wood, seem to have made some decent signings

Celtic - Might be wrong but I've just got a feeling Rodgers return isn't going to work out

Aberdeen - Will battle with Hearts for 3rd/4th.  Can be next best if they hold on to guys like Duk

Hearts - Will need to improve terrible away record.  Not sure about the Naismith manager arrangement.

Hibernian - Pure pish but will still finish Top 6

Motherwell - Decent defensively but will need to replace Van Veen's goals. Look out for Lennon Miller.

St Mirren - Will compete with Motherwell for the Top 6 spot.  Don't think they will get it twice in a row though.

Ross County - If they can keep Brophy fit, him Murray and White is more firepower than most of the bottom 6.

Livingston - Always seem to do enough, quite adroit in the transfer market.

Kilmarnock - More turgid McInnesball.  Looked a shambles at the back the other night.  Will depend heavily on Kyle Vassell.

St Johnstone - Terrible start to the season. Last two seasons have been in decline and this year might be curtains.  Small squad, inexperienced manager.

Dundee - King of the yo-yo clubs. Again small squad, didn't exactly set the Championship on fire last season.  Also, despite her having no interest in football my ex wife lives in Dundee and I hate her guts.
