Would be disappointing to lose him before he's really been involved in the first team, other than a few friendlies.
A local woman was telling me her nephew has just signed for Celtic from Saints youth set up. Celtic gave him a signing on fee and pay him £500 not sure if that's a week or monthly. I thought to myself what a silly move as the lad would have a better chance of first team football at Saints . She was on a high that he was at Celtic probably the family are Celtic fans.

Can anyone confirm there will be a game for us on Saturday. Or is it the week after due to the Scottish cup.. One of the few Saturdays I'm off so hoping to attend a game.

In Paisley I always feel an outside chance at Parkhead never. Robinson always has Saints organised and will no doubt have a go but you know it's a Celtic win. Surprised to read we have sold out our ticket allocation.

Perhaps unpopular opinion here but i would not be pushing the boat out for Gogic.
He's consistent enough on the whole but he has had far too many enormous and costly brain farts and so many more that he's gotten away with. I'd rather we kept him but I wouldn't be pushing our budget to any extremes to do so.
" Brain Fart " brilliant that made me laugh need to remember that one.

I was thinking yesterday, whilst it was great that the ground was sold out, we do have a fair few season ticket holders that, for whatever reason, can't attend each week. I'm not knocking these guys, they put their money in each season, probably knowing they won't get the full value, and I know plenty of them won't even live in Scotland anymore, but I wonder if it would be worth the club trying to set up some kind of exchange, or resale for these tickets, especially with everything being digital now? They have a list of all the season ticket holders, could it be as easy as signing in, marking yourself as "not going" and that releases the ticket for someone else? Not sure it's as easy as that, but might be worth a look, especially as we have one of the smaller grounds.
That's a good idea the lad next to me lives in New York he can't make many games. I took a wee part time job in the local hospital I get every third weekend off which does not guarantee home games however that will change next season when I officially retire

This is the dream for me really, get through a round or two and draw a good side, Galatasaray away must've class. I think the chances or getting to the groups finishing 5th (or even 4th) is almost nil, so just hope we can get a good trip.
All that said, finishing 5th isn't a certainty, we're not in good form and didn't do well after the split last year.
That's one place I would not go their fans have a bad reputation. But first we have the small matter of qualification first. Killie are flying they are a definite Europe bound.

10 goals and 4 assists for RC this season...
Aren't fans always looking for ac10 goal plus striker? He's a free agent in the summer.
Think Utd might be interested.
Murray has signed a pre-contract I understand from a comment on Sportscene with Dundee United. Murray would have been a great signing for us.

If the game goes ahead could be a lottery given horrendous weather conditions high winds in Legoland swirl neither good for both teams. Hopefully a Saints win then I can text family Hearts fans. Or will I have to turn off my phone ?

With four games to go we just really needed two points to all but seal top six. Despite being ahead after 60 minutes against Killie and today, we’ve ended up with one point from those two games. Two fantastic opportunities to secure it and we’ve choked both, doesn’t bode well.
We still should probably do it. Hibs need to win both of their games and we need to get one point or less from our two. Sounds unrealistic, till you realise their last two games are St Johnstone and Motherwell and our last two are Hearts and Celtic. Dundee would also need to get st least four points from three games against Aberdeen, Rangers and Motherwell while we lose both ours. We are in a better position than both goal difference wise, but with Celtic away on the horizon that could quickly change.
I just feel we really need to do it next week, either by Hibs dropping points or by us winning. The nightmare - and not unlikely - scenario is us going to Parkhead either needing a result or needing Motherwell to avoid defeat to Hibs.Alex Wright went through a successful period late sixties into 1970. Then it was late 70's to mid 80's for our next successful period. We are now going through another successful period long may it continue but history would suggest we are a yo-yo club. I remember attending games at Love Street with 1,200 going through the gates these were dark days thankfully not seen often. If Robinson keeps being successful a big fish will come along at some point and why every Saints fan should cherish these times.

Lewis has two full caps already.
I noticed on his Wikipedia page that there is no mention of the Championship title in 2017/18 that he played a key part in.
He will be living an incredible life in the USA.
I’m glad he is doing well out there. Good luck to him. Good guy!
I think the move to Celtic was a poor choice in hindsight.
Look what happened with Turnbull when he moved from Motherwell.Lewis always enjoyed a goal against Morten.
He is a legend to me deserves all the success. As you say he will have an amazing life in the states. Did he not attend a Saints game recently ?

Late charge for a call up for the Euros....................................................
If he is not picked soon I reckon we will see him play for the US at some point he must be due American citizenship . Working out of Norway after 5 years was entitled to Norwegian citizenship. Anyone know how citizenship in the US works.

Absolutely buzzing for this classic riffs, deep bass, classical keyboard playing , Ian Gillan vocals. Standing as a young 12 year old in the motor bike ride at the funfair this track started my Deep Purple journey.

So glad I missed that game yesterday to be on a high at halftime only for the rug to be pulled from under your feet must have been hellish. That pain will last a few days I can't even bring myself to watch Sportscene. I said on the match day thread still a lot of football to be played my passport is already. Does 5th get you into Europe It's not the be all top six will be another remarkable achievement.

Delighted to see almost 3,000 Paisley panda descend on Kilmarnock, go 2 up and look out their passports only to 45 minutes later be obliterated and have to travel back to fucking Paisley.
Terrific scenes.
Lot of football to be played yet mate. Both Saints and Killie to get back key players should make for a interesting run in. Hibs and Dundee hoping for top six also.

WOW ! That's what you call a comeback well done Killie. Must have been a great game for the neutral. Would love to get into Europe but would still be delighted with top 6.

Wtaf is our team selection about. Giving Killie 3 pts
I don't know I don't think it's too bad. Killie have a big physical striker up front for me the defence looks sold to deal with him. Midfield, Flynn has been a great servant he will do a job. Forward line is fine while the bench has good options. I'm going for a Saints win .

That Saints team was a cracker . Robinson and McInnes are quite similar in how they set their teams up. Both sides will be well organised and work hard. I think Killie edge it in the striker department and being a home game . But St Mirren are no pushovers. This has all the hallmarks for a cracking tie. C.O.Y.S.
