Went to see Airdrie earlier in the season.
They played well, they beat Partick.
It was oddly cold there in early August. Going there in January will be baltic.
Will be a tough game on the plastic pitch

My concern too is Levein has not been in management for a number of years now.
I’m intrigued in the Tam Courts link. Done well at United on paper for sure but weren’t his team guff to watch?
I remember we dominated his team at McDiarmid during the covid season but Siegrist was saving everything at him.

To me, I reckon we are a centre half short and yet we are trying to move McGowan on. Hopefully that means we have a new centre half incoming tomorrow

Talking of loaning in wingers anyone think we could get Vata in from Celtic at all. Since we done Montgomery and Ralston a turn could we be considered?
Personally don’t like loaning on and developing OF players but best to consider all options in our predicament

As mentioned, agree with all. We are a hard sell now, McLean could be picky, we are tightening our belts etc etc but in essence as a club we are totally at a standing still stage now while other clubs are being proactive.
Another take perhaps. Could the lack of movement maybe indicate a takeover is ongoing behind the scenes? I’m likely clutching at straws here but potential new owners could be wanting a say on recruitment while current owners don’t want to spend.
Any potential sale would be probably be known to us though. I do wonder if there is ‘politics’ going on somewhere though as I can’t remember such a dour summer

Hoping todays result starts a chain reaction of people now saying ‘let’s go’ and a flurry of emails and phone calls across the world…
By Monday afternoon I expect to see new owners showing us shiny pictures of a refurbished McDiarmid, (blue seats, corners filled in) a new kit deal with a Nike/adidas type, plans for a new youth academy and pre contracts deals with 6 players from South America…
