  1. I particularly liked the ball pit in the roseburn undercroft. Is there a delivery date yet for the retractable roof?
  2. I think your thinking of Partick's 10 high priced lawyers.
  3. I think we have reached the 'fiver tae watch yer car mister?' stage of the negotiations.
  4. Partick simply put the advice that they were given in the public domain and said they would have to evaluate whether putting time and money into a legal challenge was their priority.
  5. Partick's QC's advice was that was the league did not follow it's own voting procedures in that there was not a provision for a vote being changed after it was cast in the league rules.
  6. Neither the French or the Dutch clubs went through CAS - they just went through their national court system. The Dutch court opted for no relegation.
  7. Honestly, I don't see that be different to spending a year in a division that doesn't play any games because the other teams can't afford it.
  8. Not an answer to your rhetorical question, obviously, but I do agree - there could be quite a bit of time between an injunction going in and an Edinburgh court hearing the case.
  9. Sorry to post a lot of links today, but have your club made any inroads into this? https://www.stronachs.com/news-insights/insights/53-employment/251-st-mirren-bottom-of-the-national-minimum-wage-league-too
  10. Talking about it in an interview did raise the profile of low wages at clubs who could afford to pay - Celtic at the time weren't paying but agreed to a year later. Even now only 5 EPL clubs do and this is 5 years on. If Hibs implemented it after the Budge said she had, the quietly would have been the best way to go tbf.
  11. She has said the voting system was ridiculous since day 1 to be fair to her. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/aug/01/hearts-ann-budge-soul-challenges
  12. By now, each club will have looked at the revenue streams that they have and worked out what there exposure to playing without fans - some revenue streams will still work well, eg online club stores, Streamed matches through Club TV and Televised games through a broadcaster (e.g. Sky Sports), Donations Benefactors (other clubs have them too) Club sponsors. Some will be worse, ticket sales, match day hospitality, match day sponsorship, programme sales, sales through a brick and mortar club store. All clubs will, by now have projections about what the numbers look like for them. Some have commented publicly, some have played their cards close to their chest. The meetings are a way for the situation to be discussed privately and the needs collated. For some clubs, starting up in August will be fine, for others, the opportunity to mothball and remain a league member may be something that would help them survive. Anything other than running a normal season would likely require rule changes.
