  1. At least they have the excuse of not being sober.
  2. We're being outfought and out muscled everywhere. McLennan needs hooked also.
  3. Campbell was doing it in the last game. Your guess is as good as mine.
  4. Having a central midfield would be a good start.
  5. Yep, this is when we find out if Glass is a teacup thrower or not.
  6. Having his dinner at the itty bitty chef. Having some joy down the left.
  7. Nice to see that Kennedy has been told to pass, rather than run into blind alleys.
  8. Also Hayes at LB? Otherwise our exciting attacking new brand of football involves only two centre-backs in defence. I mean, I know it's common to sub the goalie for an attacking player in ice hockey toward the end of the game if you're losing...
  9. Aye, anyone who has been managed by both Brian Clough & Alex Ferguson & came away from those experiences believing that tactics weren't important is a massive red flag. I'd imagine Sky & the sports editors' ideal appointment would be Keane, going on the Man U/Liverpool, Keane/Gerrard dynamics.
  10. I would suppose that the Maresca option would have you breathing a wee bit easier?
  11. You're correct Sheep. My love for the man probably blinded me to the truth!
  12. Bonus point for pairing 'Oliver Hardy' & 'stylee' together. Must be the first time in history this has happened.
  13. You might be on to something here! Scored a fair few hat-tricks as a centre back.
  14. Agreed. It makes logical sense to get the DoF in first, as they would presumably be responsible for the footballing ethos and would hire a manager to execute that vision. I might be remembering this incorrectly, but was Harkin not paired with Keane in previous rumours?
  15. Considine is a bit of a conundrum at the moment. He has competition at left back from Mackenzie and, competition from Hoban, Taylor and possibly McCrorie at centre half. As much as it would give me the fear to see Taylor instructed to play it out from the back, opponents seem to be finding a way through the centre of our defence during the past two games, which Taylor usually nullifies with his arial presence, more so than Considine.
  16. I seem to remember one story from the WWII reprint annuals where Joe & Hen were arguing as one supported Celtic & the other Rangers. Could be wrong.
  17. Don't believe you, there's no way anyone on afc-chat ever went to school.
