  1. Andrew Dallas certainly gave you a couple of gifts on Sunday...is it him underneath the beard?
  2. Fair play to any Livingston fans that made the trip up to watch those two teams...
  3. James McGarry looks like he's at Jerel Ifil's level and I think the latter is the worst player I've ever seen for the Dons that played more than 50 times for us. Truly dispiriting performance saved by Bojan...
  4. Just an old right wing reactionary now I'm afraid...maybe he always was? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-63197829
  5. Clockwise was superb, definitely a standout in the later Cleese portfolio (if that's what you call it?) but then all he does now is shite like GB News. Joan Hickson was brilliant as one of the dotty old women.
  6. Especially since QotS play in League One rather than the Chanpionship and that is somewhat of a surprise if a League One side reach the last four
  7. Oh, it looks like I've recevied mail intended for Andrew Dallas
  8. They are hollow because they regularly involve skullduggery from corrupt Masonic match officials and/or corrupt Masonic owners with shady business practices. Sevco and their predecessor entity make the 1988 Olympics 100 metres final look honest and respectable.
  9. Shinnie looked a yard off it both in body and mind yesterday, as he has done for most of the season. If he still has the ability and stamina to perform at the level we require of him then he isn't fitting into the system Robson wants to play. If that's the case then Robson shouldn't be playing him in nearly every game (I know he was left out for Frankfurt). I felt Barron and Polvara were more suited to that big Hampden pitch yesterday and McGarth or Clarkson behind the strikers but not both in the starting line up. Shinnie perhaps a useful addition on the pitch later in the game but to go in alongside Barron. I would've started with Miovski (although he didn't look fit to me) alongside Duk with Sokler a like-for-like (to an extent) replacement if Miovski was struggling. I might've been tempted getting some natural width with Morris although he can be a useful sub as legs begin to tire. I would've played MacDonald instead of Ruby and Hayes would've been making up the numbers on the bench.
  10. I didn't see better opposition today, they were as bad as us, and their fans were nervous...the first goal was going to be crucial but it looked like Robson wanted to nick it either with a set-piece goal or penalties. I can no longer suffer him, we need someone that has a better plan that kicking it over the top. But nothing is going to happen anytime soon, we're going to continue to stutter along but Robson is going to need new excuses soon with Europe and the League Cup curtains.
  11. An uneventful match served up by two piss poor teams. If Robson had anything about him as a manager he would've left out Hayes and Shinnie from the starting line up , utilised Clarkson behind the strikers, and had some width if he wanted to play two strikers. I'm sick of him, I wanted to give him time but I've ran out of patience and goodwill. Sevco are absolutely honking; however, not once did we seriously test their keeper.
  12. It won't happen, and probably nobody will agree, but I'd only have Shinnie on the bench on Sunday.
  13. UEFA are a disgrace banning Frankfurt fans after they had booked up. They could've easily waited until the next round. The club also lost money and were punished unfairly after selling tickets. Fuck UEFA At least we reached 6 points and took points from each team in the group unlike Hearts last season, who also reached 6 points but only beat RFS twice.
  14. I also thought along that lines tonight although more focused on Pittodrie and thought of Bayern Munich in 1983 (forgot about the Super Cup). Although I would also give honourable mentions to Servette, Feyenoord, Rapid Vienna and Copenhagen.
  15. Hayes was better today but his crossing his abysmal. He got in an excellent position in the first half right in front of Section Y and he didn't bother to look up when he blasted one aimlessly in.
  16. Stein, with his assistant Paul O'Grady, during his long trophy-laden spell at Leeds United
  17. It's like Groundhog Day but the over a season time frame. Each season around Christmas the inexperienced Aberdeen manager's jacket peg becomes shoogly. Robson needs to go but the elephant in the room is Cormack. I believe he's still interfering in team affairs (some of the signings have been bizarre and obviously not Robson's choice), he's definitely still appointing/promoting the wrong people and giving them the remit of mere 'yes' men. Unless something horrendous happens then he's unlikely to leave before the mid-season break. My which time the season is going to be irretrievable in the league and somewhat perilous. If Cormack does finally go with experience, it's going to be someone he knows and has some kind of relationship with that he can control. Probably Gordon Strachan's if he wants it ... Troubled waters ahead under Captain Cormack...
  18. The Dons need to be looking at Esteban Lepaul as an replacement for Miovski from SAS Epinal in the French Championnat National. The boy is class and at 23 a good age for possible sell-on.
  19. I hope to be proven wrong but I still think we have issues in the goalkeeping position, central defence and up front that will be exposed at this level.
  20. I don't know the format or if it's possible but I think the likely outcome is that we finish 3rd but aren't one of the best placed finishers. Perhaps with the first round now offering more opportunities for those that finish in third place we can sneak through to the last 16 like Northern Ireland did in 2016. However, I don't see much of a change in either skill or attitude that suggests we'll make much of an impact at Euro24 than we have at any other finals that we've reached.
  21. A match was played with much more tension than the game tomorrow, best remebered for Italia 90 qualification, two unusual goals and the beginning of the end of Willie Miller's playing career.
