That goal for Ireland resulted in the Dutch goalie, Van Breukelen, being dropped for the quarter final v West Germany....however, he ended up in goals for the game when Dons keeper Theo Snelders pulled out of the team due to the physchological affliction - shitting himsel'. A great Dutch team made up of players from the great AC Milan team of the time, PSV, Barcelona, Ajax and of course Aberdeen - their forward line for much of the second half was Gullit, Van Basten and Gillhaus. Well I applied online for a passport last Monday evening (26th Feb) sent off my old one second class on Tuesday and received my new passport in the post yesterday morning at 7.55am (1st March) So there you go the turnaround was quicker.........
