Just seen a east Stirlingshire player has tested positive Now full team has to isolate for 14 days player and team mates will now miss work as well as players mostly not getting paid just now until competitive games start I’m sure won’t be long until players at this level decide they won’t be playing

As sad as it is no death is acceptable but life can’t stand still forever as bad as this virus is we have to find a way to move forward as standing outside watching football is nowhere near as risky as going to shops pubs out for meal Etc as I said before the lower leagues should and could have fans no problem even more so than premier clubs I wonder how many of the people on here who keep saying it’s to dodgy have been out for a pint and dinner and supermarkets without worrying at all most if not all I bet

No but plenty of them will be paying there mortgage at least off this money let me make it simple u sign a player u say here this is ur wage I expect u to travel here for training and games etc we will pay u this amount then u ask same player to do the same but with no money at all and all the travel to games and training come out here own pocket the most won’t do it we will have to agree to disagree on this I’m not saying they won’t play football but they will just pick a club near home with there mates or so

If they are good enough no player and I mean no player will be playing for free especially now no shower pissing down travelling everywhere themselves then running the risk of injury or illness then missing there own work or putting there own family at risk all for free not a hope in hell

What if some clubs want to play and can afford to run with no fans highly highly doubtful but hypothetically could they run a mini type league and will clubs be punished in anyway if league is aloud to start when proposed but clubs can’t due to no fans and no income

Yeah sure the players will do that if no season contracts null and void better players will go elsewhere and play if they can step up which plenty could and then teams without money behind them will be no more

Correct I know everyone loves there club mate whatever level it is but can’t expect the players to as well especially as there already playing and travelling for nothing to play and train at least 3 times a week until competitive games start at most teams just now and what if anything happens to them I’m sure club won’t pay them if can’t play and what if they end up off there own work due to playing etc some people are so naive I’m sure they all go to work for free

So u say but premiership is what 7 games in now teams have played in Europe and we have had international games and barely moved forward and make no mistake about it the Scottish premier will come long before our levels of the game infact lower leagues are barely ever in the powers that be thoughts if anything they would probably rather not have lower level teams in the structure at all and would be pretty happy if a few disappeared due to this and as I said the other day fans could be accommodated easily from league 1 down just now no problem
