  1. And who, as a former PM, will almost certainly be given a seat in the lords.
  2. The key to success in retail is knowing your market.
  3. Surprised at that; thought they'd prefer Easyjet!
  4. From a not very promising start, has ended up a decently exciting game.
  5. Not 0-0, but next week's replay might still be on!
  6. Who thought parking the bus against KC would be a good idea?
  7. With 16 points on the board, we have just matched the lowest scoring Superbowl record!
  8. 49ers should have capitalised more on what they've played, and may go on to rue that, but... Chiefs almost look like they thought all they had to do was turn up, and now they don't know what to do. Least worst wins!
  9. Chiefs thinking the 3pts were fine as they'd have the ball back after the break!
  10. Was that the wee white rapper from Manchester or something, a couple of years back? If so, I concur.
  11. That'll be @Brummie Clyde's coupon burst!
  12. Replay a week on Thursday?
  13. "It is far better that 10 guilty men go free than one innocent man is wrongfully convicted." Undoubtedty, there will be a few who were at it, and who will get off lightly as a result of this, but to go through and review on a case-by-case basis achieves little other than to prolong the ordeal for the many innocent victims.
  14. Similarly, I was unaware of his political career. Assumed he was just the partner of a famous person, and would not be a "celebrity" in his own right other than through his illness, which would have ruled him ineligible. Nonetheless, RIP, etc.
  15. Entry in. Having reached, on my first attempt, the heady heights of one (1) hit, I'm certainly hoping for a better (worse?) year next year. It's not that I want people to die, you understand, but if they're going to do so anyway, I'd just prefer they were on my list!
  16. Parcel probably wasn't even for there!
  17. BBC News - Man, 84, dead after explosion destroys house in Edinburgh https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-67599945 BBC now reporting one unfortunately dead.
  18. Whereas, in the above picture, there should clearly be 6!
  19. Or maybe, just a thought, actually signing a fucking striker?
  20. And the Tories/Labour/Liberal seem to have taken this to heart. The first time I was aware of negative campaigning was during the 2014 referendum - though it may have gone on before then, I was less politically aware - but it seems the norm now. Rather than saying 'Vote for me, I'll do this for you' they say 'Vote for me, or they'll do that!' Don't know what the alternative is, but it does make one question whether democracy, in its current form, is really the best way?
  21. There'll no doubt be plenty of Rambo wannabees volunteering to join the manhunt... Until they realise that they might also get shot at!
