  1. As much as I despise racism in any shape or form, I have to laugh at Karren Brady in yesterdays Sun decrying people for abuse & dehumanising people when she has built her entire career answering to two manipulative pornographers who have spent their entire lives abusing & dehumanising girls and women to make money. Utterly despicable efforts at human beings.
  2. Broony will veto it as he won't stand for a steady stream of actual football players 'megging him in training.
  3. We are all busy reading our atlases to see where we are going next season.
  4. I cannot wait to read the papers down here tomorrow.
  5. If he was half as clever as he thinks, he would be twice as clever as he actually is.
  6. That's a relief, I was wondering what the hell a goslt was.
  7. Yes I agree that that is a whole different problem that goes down to the whole food chain, big clubs hoover up the young, potential talent for fear of missing out, bigger clubs hoover up the best of the big clubs talent due to FOMO, the biggest clubs then hoover up the elite talent due to FOMO & at every link in the chain everyone moans that it isn't fair & those bullies tapped our talent and got them for peanuts. Billy Gilmour Killie>Rangers>Chelsea for example. No idea how anyone is ever going to fix that problem.
  8. Lex, I mean this in the nicest possible way, you would be a better appointment than Pressley. That desk banging arsehole better not even be present in a KA postcode area.
  9. Willy, you have actually came up with a good idea from the wrong angle there. It would be a very good idea to prevent a player who has played 30 first team games elsewhere from playing for anyone else but his parent club, in effect put up or shut up, that would allow them to find their natural level quicker & would aid the development of genuine talents.
  10. I thought it was a shocker at the time & was similar to what the Southampton player got sent off fir earlier this week in that he clearly studded his leg way above the ball.
  11. Feel we are generally in agreement here, I would like to see VAR lite in the Premiership where only potential red card decisions, penal offences in the penalty area & ball over the line issues are dealt with. Get the offside shite in the bin as that is ludicrous but looking at key, potential match changing decisions seems to embrace the original "clear and obvious" error ethos that is should have been intended to address.
  12. We shall agree to disagree from this point on although I do agree that TCV & Grohl influenced ( and in general) QOTSA are excellent. Bit plodding recently but Foo Fighters are one of the best bands I have ever seen live & songs like Learning to Fly, Walk, Big Me & The Pretender are right up there among the best.
  13. I genuinely believe you have a point here in that a stamp by Gary Dicker, for example, on Kyle McAllister, will not receive the same media scrutiny. All things considered however, if the referee is looking at that fictional incident then Dicker is off the park at the time. The issue is that referees are abdicating responsibility at the time (I have my own theory why) knowng that the proper sanction will be applied retrospectively which potentially affects the result on the day & is an abdication of responsibility & a deviation from being the sole arbitrer of the laws of the game.
  14. I get that, but they now have a night to rest and sleep on it before going in to bat. After a long day in the field with the mental & physical pressures that brings the last thing you need is Jimmy probing with a hint of swing & Jofra digging into your ribs at 90+ mph. I think they have been too defensive here if they want to win, it could have been 14-3 with both openers & the nightwatchman gone or it could have been 25-0 with no drama but they didn't ask the question which is poor in my opinion.
  15. Clearly no interest in winning the game first & foremost here, you always need big runs in the first innings in India but feel that England have missed a trick by not giving Jimmy & Jofra a chance against openers who have spent a long day in the field.
  16. Oddly enough, this current pandemic is doing quite a lot to slow down emissions that increase carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere, almost as if Mother Nature knows what she is doing.
  17. England batting far too long here for no apparent purpose, at least have a bit of a swing to add 30 odd tail runs from this position. You should always give your pace bowlers two bites at a new cherry at the end and start of play if you can
  18. Roofe deserves a ban for it but it is the classic strikers challenge with zero malice intended.
  19. I am talking about Brown for his indentikit foul on Tish that he was sent off for vs Livvi.
