  1. I think the plan at the moment is to add more seats, further along the old terrace. After the first bit gets covered though.
  2. Reghan Tumilty released by hartlepool. Was rumoured to be joining us in the summer. Back on maybe?
  3. Finishing with none of our starting front 4 seemed strange tactically from Dodds. Maybe understandable if we were winning. But replacing all of our goal threats with players significantly less likely to score, suggests Dodds had accepted the draw early on
  4. I'd also have hoped for the youngsters to have got on a bit sooner. Surely by 5-1 up you'd think it's safe to give one a chance. Thought they looked like they could knick another between them, if given a little longer.
  5. Front 4 looks quite exciting now with the addition of Jay Henderson. Defensively still very worrying. It needs to improve against better sides. Devine was shouting at Ram and Delaney quite a bit for being out of position, and not watching their man. Though Delaney made up for it by chasing his everything, and winning most tackles. Ball also looked glued to his feet, whenever he charged forward. Looks like a somewhat capable squad again. Though we are wear we are. Partly because of the players out. But also Dodds signings weren't good enough to cover. The biggest failure being not signing a right back. That being crucial, as having to play Carson, Hyde or both left us unable to really change the system of play. Right now. Think I feel the same as last season. There could be interesting times to come, but kind of numb to the losses. Dodds has failed and keeping him on after this season will be unacceptable whatever happens.
  6. Not a bad effort from the young lads. Worked hard and had some good play in spells. But were all easily shoved aff the ball and muscled through. Both goals Hamilton seemed to just go straight through the defence unchallenged. Calum mackay stood out the most with good runs around Hamilton creating some good chances. Wasn't brushed off as easily as the rest. Off the rest I'd say Barret Nicholson and Strachan were the best of the rest. Really should have levelled early on when a shot was headed to the keeper, when he could have taken a bit of time to kick it with more power. Just didn't realise how much space he had and rushed it
  7. Thought I briefly saw Dodds on the touchline just before kickoff. Could off been Kellechar though. Just a glimpse of a fat guy in a tracksuit.
  8. On TWS podcast gardiner had said Robbo was on a significantly reduced wage. It seems a bit much for Dodds too. But that much for Gardiner doesn't surprise me
  9. I don't know what's going on in England. But I refuse to take seriously any Scotland poll, where reform even registers a percentage. Nobody knows who they are
  10. An all Scotland league has only existed since 1994. Yous won the lowland league bud
  11. Maybe that's a bit far. A free western iles definitely though
  12. On that basis. I'd assume the gaidhealtachd could declare independence anytime, and have no objections from the courts.
  13. You can talk of history. But Caley thistles 26 combined Highland league titles Dundees pre 1994 lowland league titles 1. Not much history there.
  14. Thought we were on 8 out. Any news on who the other 2 injuries might be?
  15. When I say imploding. I think all the alba types will be waiting for there moment to jump ship.
  16. The SNP is already imploding. And without the threat of unionist parties, what incentive would there be to continue voting for them? Far more compelling visions would would quickly become the opposition. And wouldn't won't to let the SNP set all the terms of a future Scotland.
  17. 'the yes side, could be whatever faction you'd be prepared to vote for in an independent Scotland. Assuming on gaining independence, there would be an election on who would form the first government. (and that wouldn't include tories, lib dems or Labour in there current form) as they don't have the infrastructure of a party based in Scotland. This first election would be wide open on who would end up in charge. So taking that into consideration. Your answer to those questions could come from any of the pro independence groups. Who have different answers to all these questions. It doesn't really matter what the SNP say about any of these questions now, as different options on them would be put to you when the time comes.
  18. Now you mention Dundee. There's always the chance this is another vanishing email. Or they forgot to actually press send
  19. Without assuming anyone else is back from injury this is what we're left with Ridgers Carson Ram Delaney Harper Boyd Hyde Welsh Doran McKay Oakley With just Shaw and the u18s on the bench. And am also not too sure everyone in that starting line up is at 100%.
  20. Hard to tell. As all the boys that should be looking to step up are out on loan. I think we're left with the younger group.
  21. Thought Devine was our best player till he went off. Harper and Oakley get pass marks for the first half too. Our attacking midfielders offered very little. With Doran barely making an impact, and young Mackay trying hard, but easily getting bodied off the ball. Second half the defence fell apart with the changes. Hyde was OK in midfield but terrible positioning at right back. And Allardice was awful too. Boyd looked good late on. Think he might have more of an influence on games centrally than out wide. Good effort from Brechin, worked hard. And unlucky to go out on that performance.
  22. My 2 loving their new spot at the window
  23. Does there not have to be a coronation ceremony before Williams officially next line? Not sure of the protocol but would seem right for Anne to be new Queen if that happened
  24. Pretty poor for the Caley. Delaney, Ram and Shaw are young with potential so wouldn't have seen any as starters right away. Boyd I guess is cheap cover till Sutherland or Walsh come back from injury. Oakley was a ridiculous signing, when we already had 2 decent strikers and still no right back. We could have shuffled something acceptable up front short term if Samuels and McKay were both out. Instead were starting weaker in defence, and centre midfield. Dan Mackay the one good signing. Not looking good right now. But one positive, plenty of young players with potential, who could grow into being good for us. Though not much good starting this season.
