Decent result for Braves today. Anyone know the attendance ?

In recent times they binned aff all the Junior Cup completions, Sectional league cup/central cup etc only for these other ones to take there place.

How many in the stands today?

If my memory serves me correctly they got 1 promotion from the central league in the last 2000s. The ground got sold off in 2002/03 and didn’t vacate till 2014. 10 years they never sorted anything out,

Any news of Division 4 being expanded next season? Or at full capacity now unless teams drop out?

Some of the Money from the sale of adamslie got put into a separate account for the management team and it was all washed away after a few seasons on players such as Diack Gormley etc.

Who knows what contracts and deals have been signed. Could all of been part of an earlier agreement. I can’t see the club would have any money to take them to court, if they loose? Good buy to getting a lease from the council for the ground. Back to square 1

The council scrapped the original plan to work alongside KRR for the ground. Once it was built they did a swift u-turn. The club the had to bid and apply for the ground because it was unfair on other parties who might be interested in leasing it. No other party/club had any interest as it was built specifically for KRR. all to do with stupid council include everyone policies.

What I’ve heard the council gave KRR the green light to lease the ground and basically run it on the councils behalf which was the original plan. Apparently they have back tracked this idea and the council want to run it themselves deciding who plays when. And make KRR 1 of there tennants. I believe there has been problems with advertising as the council would not let KRR put up sponsorship signs. The word on the street is EDC are choking for a B team or Woman’s team to lease it for all the $$$$

The West should adapt a format where if the winner isn’t licensed 2nd or 3rd whatever which is licensed should go into the playoff. Like the LL if a B team wins the team behind them should go up.

The speedway is sponsoring them and giving the club 75k

The papers are saying the pitch it too small might be to do with the speedway round it can’t make it bigger.

Not sure if this has been brought up in another thread, I see Ashfield are now groundsharing with Easterhouse for the rest of the season. Their pitch doesn’t meet the requirements for the first Divison. Very Sad to seem them move out of the old Ashfield Stadium.

Any news on KRR’s ground? Drove by a few weeks ago place is 100% complete and ready to go. Still nothing being said by EDC and KRR
