  1. There's no actual tickets, they're all virtual tickets. So once a donation is made I distribute the money to the club as and when they wish to be paid. Currently it's every Wednesday. I completely understand that clubs wish to use standard fundraising pages and it makes no difference to me since the project is non-profit. What's been good with Donate a Ticket compared to the fundraising pages is the email retargeting. I send a weekly email out to all donors encouraging them to come back and 'donate a ticket'. This has been very effective, even today that one email brought in another £500 for various clubs.
  2. Sorry have just noticed this reply so wanted to confirm something. Transaction fees are standard everywhere, they're not from me, they're from PayPal and Stripe. Even the donations you are making on the Clyde official website have transaction fees. This is a non-profit from me. I've paid my own money for the site and I'm not planning on making a penny out of it. If you don't want to use it fine, but please don't bad mouth me on a public forum making out that I'm profiting from this.
  3. Hey guys, Just to let you know Clyde are now live and accepting donations on http://www.donateaticket.com. You can donate the value of a match ticket direct to Clyde on the site. There are leaderboards for each division creating competition between clubs in who can raise the most. Clyde shared it on Twitter over the weekend. I set up the site as a non-profit, it's free for clubs and no commission is taken from any donations. Also, the transaction fees are actually smaller than Just Giving and Go Fund Me. Good luck!

  5. Hey guys, been given permission to post this... I've set up a website called Donate a Ticket, it's a fundraising platform for all clubs in the Scottish league pyramid. Since launching last week it's raised £4000 between 16 clubs and there's more and more clubs being added every day. Simple concept, fans can donate the value of a match ticket to their club for each of the remaining matches. The leaderboard aspect is what makes it unique, clubs compete against others in the same division to see who can fundraise the most. It's non-profit. It's free for clubs to be part of, no commission taken from any donations and the transaction fees are less than JustGiving or GoFundMe. I know a lot of clubs have already set up their fundraising pages but this is available for when they may plateau or just another creative way to fundraise. So far in League One, Raith, Montrose and Stranraer are active and receiving donations. Raith have promoted twice and raised almost £3000, quite incredible considering what's also on their JustGiving page. I've set up a website called Donate a Ticket, it's a fundraising platform initially for SPFL clubs to raise money in the form of virtual tickets/ticket donations for what would've been the last few matches of the season. Clubs compete against each other on the leaderboards, there's one for each division as well as an overall, this should encourage more donations from supporters. There's been massive interest this week from the Lowland League, 9 clubs have gone live in the last 2 days and there'll be a similar amount of EOS clubs being added early next week. I spoke to someone at Nairn County, they're going to be discussing it during a Highland League meeting on Monday but I thought I'd also introduce the website here in case anyone wants to get in touch before then. If you want your club live on the site accepting donations I need permission from a club official. A director at Berwick got in touch on Monday and asked if I'd include the Lowland League so I'm adding it today.   10. Hey guys, just wanted to let you know Stenhousemuir are now live and accepting donations on Donate a Ticket. If you haven't seen the site before, I set it up last week as a project to keep me busy while my work has quietened down. It's a fundraising platform for fans to donate the value of a match ticket to their club for each of the remaining fixtures. There's a leaderboard for clubs to compete against each other, hopefully encouraging more donations and raising more for each club. It's non-profit, free for all clubs and I don't take any commission from any donations. The transaction fees are also less than JustGiving and GoFundMe. Stenhousemuir have just promoted it on Twitter if you want proof of authenticity, so far £79 been donated.
  11. Yes, I believe it's 2.5% + 25p per transaction on JustGiving. If you use Donate a Ticket it's 1.4% + 20p per transaction.
  12. Hey guys, yeah it was me that set it up, project to keep me busy while I'm sat around doing f*ck all. Only went live on Friday and Raith only club to promote it so far, seems to be going well considering it's had very little promotion and we'd already raised an enormous amount on JustGiving. 5 clubs are involved so far - ourselves, Clyde, Montrose, Stenhousemuir and Striling Albion. Will also be adding SWPL after Glasgow City got in touch and hopefully Highland and Lowland League teams. It's non-profit so all donations go to the respective clubs, minus the standard transaction fees. Most clubs have been great in passing it on to other clubs to get involved, hopefully next week there's a lot more promoting it and raising funds, just as long as we stay top of the leaderboard! With regards to donating via JustGiving or the Raith Donate a Ticket page, it's entirely up to you. Either way the money is going to Raith!
