  1. I'm just still bitter about us scoring 4 goals at home against 10 men and not coming away with 3 points We just fell apart when Stanton went off and didn't recover until Friday there when, coincidentally, Stanton came back into the team. Hopefully that's galvanised us and the fire and passion is back
  2. I just hope the Ayr hammer-throwers don't try and injure our best players this time. The rest of the league should have thanked them for half killing Stanton. That was when our bad run started.
  3. Even my father-in-law, who really struggles to walk, jumped up as soon as that ball hit the net. Was like feckin Granpa Joe from Willy Wonka! Was absolutely buzzing after that game, knew I had to get up at 4 but struggled to sleep last night.Kept seeing that worldie and my adrenaline peaked again and again. Hopefully we kick on now and go on another wee run. COYR
  4. Would love it if Keiron Bowie and Regan Hendry came home to win us promotion
  5. I got one of their giant curry balls ,which were supposed to be fantastic, a couple of years ago. Took a bite of it and it was like it was made out of baby wipes. Disgusting. Never been back since.
  6. You have to remember that some people will be back at work today, myself included, that won't make a 3pm midweek kickoff
  7. Brilliant way to announce it. Fantastic to have a bit of stability for the foreseeable future. Just another few wee extensions in our Xmas stocking please
  8. Felt last night that there was a nervousness about the team and the fans. The atmosphere was very flat until the 3rd goal. Couldn't believe the negativity from some of the fans last night. There was an old guy behind me going mental that we were playing from the back and passing it about He just wanted the ball straight up the pitch. The booing was ridiculous towards the team, it doesn't help getting on the players backs. Especially when Kev made his clanger. He is still a young player but he has saved us on multiple occasions, including last night when he ran out the box to clear at the feet of the striker. The defending was woeful last night, couldn't believe how easily they were able to run right through us. But thats not just on the defence, the midfield just stood off.Really need Brown back into midfield and 2 proper CBs on the pitch. We missed Sam when he went off and I felt that Easton wasn't moving the same after that tackle. Hopefully this is just a blip but we are still unbeaten in 11, top of the league and 5 points clear. The players have been outstanding this season so deserve to be let off for last night, let them rest, recuperate and move on to Arbroath. And LETS GET RIGHT BEHIND THE ROVERS!
  9. Should never have had to get rid of the terracing imo. Although back in the day, I used to sell the programs so didn't get in until kick off. Resulting in me having to stand behind the tallest cnut there as there was no other space
  10. Due to our new friendship and links, I wonder if there's any lightning-quick wingers or target man we can get on loan from Las Palmas?
  11. Is the pitch not due for renewal soon? Hopefully the board has money ringfenced for it. Don't want it to end up like Livi's threadbare carpet
  12. They can always come to an agreement with Kirkcaldy and Dysart and put it in at Denfield.
  13. All sectarian shite like that should be banned from Starks Park (and Scotland in general imo). Its bad enough with the 2 arse cheeks, there's no place for it in our family friendly club.
  14. Aye Dunfermline has got history of chucking money they didn't have to get promoted
  15. Oh the irony of Pars fans alleging a club is throwing money they don't have to win the league
  16. Yep, for £50 to charity. David Latto came on to sing his version and they got the big fud to come on stage. It was a brilliant night again. Paquito was very emotional talking about his time here. Didn't realise how intelligent a man John Barnes is but hoped he was going to give some funny stories. Gary Mcalister was brilliant and spoke about that penalty miss. All the inductees deserved their awards, was great to see Gordon Arthur getting inducted. He was my favourite player back in the day.
  17. Well we'll just have to win the league then. Always seem to enjoy games against Airdrie from back in the 90s when we seemed to play each other constantly. Hope you stay up.
  18. I thought that as well. Also noticed their no.16 having a fly wee kick at Smith when he ran to celebrate in front of the fans
