  1. It's a funny one that as I feel similar. Worried as surely Partick are going to get one over on us at some point due to having not all season in the league. However scared of Airdrie as we seem unable to get one over on them and it is hard to imagine us doing so. Think the main takeaway of that line of thinking is fearful pessimism. Trying to shift that outlook mentally!
  2. Such an emotive rollercoaster football is. Why we all love and hate it at the same time. If told at start of the season we would be 1 point behind with 10 games left we would have laughed at the idea but been delighted at the same time. I keep saying we are having blips and Dundee United just aren't capitalising on it. Perhaps their fans feel the same way. Everyone makes mistakes, friday night was a clanger no denying it - suspect he had a sleepless night pondering that over and over. It is done now. On to the next game, lets not completely destroy the mans confidence. We need more of the old school Marvin we believe energy!!!
  3. That should have been his hattrick. When a player scores his first/second goal of the day. As if every passage of play would have remained the same had in fact an earlier chance been taken.

  7. That is a horrendous run of form for sure! The fact that we still have a sniff of the playoffs is incredible and down to a superb start of the season. Also of course down to Partick and Inverness being just a little bit less shite than us! Had we maybe had a little bit more luck and a few more breaks of the ball then who knows. Classic if's and but's assessment of a season. Obviously if we had Vaughan all season we'd have had a title party by now.
  8. The 15th of the month is when they asked peoples standing orders for the supporters fund to go into the coffers. Wonder how big a deficit there was this month to previous. I hadn't cancelled mine, possibly due to laziness. However certainly droves of people most likely have.
  9. Benedictus retraction incoming at the first opportunity probably with the release of the latest statement!
  10. I have been struggling the past few days to fully digest this news. I feel like I have been cheated on by a loved one. The other night I couldn't sleep and I was just lying there reminiscing about the good times of supporting Raith I have had. Being Glasgow born and bred I have always had a sort of pride in telling people who I support when prompted and educating the "aye but who is your big team" follow up questions. I think this is gone. Reputation in tatters. I feel so sorry for the other players on the team that I feel the allegiance to and love watching and cheering. I suspect many were as shocked as we were when the news dropped. I was keen to pop down the road to cheer them on at Celtic Park but I really don't think I can do this anymore, that is even with my assumption Goodwillie is cuptied. I am at a loss as to where we go from here as a club and where I go as a fan.
  11. Only team in the league without a win in the last 5 games. Really hoping this is just our blip for the season then we go on another remarkable run. To still be in the hunt after a poor run is testament to how good we were start of the season. Lets see if this 45 minute rousing McGlynn rant has the desired effect!
  12. Think unfortunately we need to wait for Belichick to retire for this to hopefully become reality!
  13. Started alright at this and now plunging down the table. Think I need to stop backing the Jets to be close to competitive against anyone! Our one win blip aside!
  14. I think probably from 4th placed Thistle in the league table downwards is just a sea of teams that will feel they just haven't got going yet this season. Think it is going to be a tight league again, may be a break away top two of ICT and Kilmarnock if they continue their form then the rest of us just trying to maintain a bit of momentum and victories to avoid the bottom two spots.
  15. Jets man here due to them being the first team I went to cheer for. Went to my first NFL game new years day 2006 - Jets against the Bills at the old swampland. Jets winning with a kickoff return in the 4th quarter after having just fallen behind to a field goal, that's about all I remember other than the fact it was baltic!
  16. Joined, Never done a spread predictor before. Lets see how shite I am! J E T S Jets Jets Jets
  17. hadn't realised there had been no away fans at Celtic Park. Was looking forward to the shite view the away end offers. Closest stadium in the country to me, easily walkable. Will debate sitting in as a home fan and just try sit on my hands to not applaud our goals flowing in.
  18. Think last week emotionally was a tough one with the Vaughan and Tait double whammy of news. Both tough for differing reasons. Think the multitude of announcements now made about Tait was to try put out some of the flames of uproar most of us were generating. The Vaughan one is still upsetting, was saying to my mates there isn't many players at other clubs around who's injury status would generate a 10 minute manager interview for the teams website. Such is his stature at RRFC!
  19. Correct that is mental. Think you need to get a new side hobby pal, wee jigsaw or something. Perhaps of an "event"
