I’ve got a lot of time for Thistle. When I was a kid playing boys football in Grangemouth our manager and his eldest son were Thistle daft and we played in Thistle strips. I’ve got a lot of time for folk who choose Thistle ahead of the ugly sisters, I know nowadays they are the beardy hipster choice in the West End but it wasn’t like that way back then. Been to Firhill lots and never seen any real bother.

I genuinely think apart from the keepers, you could probably make a case for any of our normal starting eleven getting the award.

I would go Lang as I think he has been the rock that our success has been built upon and his influence has rubbed off on those around him. Young player would definitely be Finn as he has been brilliant and made the RB spot his own. Most improved would be Nesbitt, he too has had a fantastic season and has taken his all round game to another level. Finally The Harry Kinnear Special Award for services to the Falkirk cause has to go to the Ultras. I’ve supported them from the start and was an advocate of the drum when others weren’t too sure. I think we can all say they have been fucking outstanding and have made the full going to see the Bairns experience so much better. Thats all the awards for now.

Take back what I said Mackie has been okay but still prefer Leon. Ross is a player and is great cover for Calvin. Would love Shanley to get a goal as he puts in so much effort and has decent touches. Been comfortable so far.

I’m no happy with Mackie for McCann, I can maybe accept the other changes.

Thought the Tifo was excellent yesterday and the atmosphere from start to finish was superb, South Stand was rocking and we could even hear singing breaking out from the Main Stand. There is such a great spirit around TFS now and it finally feels like our proper home. Players and management team have been brilliant and yet again I have to say a special mention to the Ultras who have transformed the full match day experience, I just wish I was 40 years younger.

Well that will ding dang do for me, couldn’t give a shite how we won it, we won it. If anything that second half underlined the big cahoonas that this squad has, gladiators the fucking lot of them. Support was immense, the Ultras deserve an award at the end of this season. I can hear the calling of a Grangemouth Railway Club pint or ten, will taste oh so sweet tonight. Thank you John McGlynn and the players, I love the lot of you

I think if we do go up there wouldn’t be wholesale changes. I could see maybe 6/7 new players coming in. A new keeper with Nicky as back up, another striker or two. I would honestly consider keeping Shanley and if we could get Tait and Ross then another 2 or 3 tops would do. I don’t think there would be that many departures either. Morrison if the rumours are true, I think the likes of Ola, Jordan Allan, McGinn would be gone and possibly Sean Mackie. Other than that I think the rest could do a job and if they aren’t starting 11’s be squad players.

Come on boys get this done today. Don’t want another season of looking over to the North and seeing three men and a dug. This is the time for those in navy blue to shine and be heroes. Part of the reason I don’t do social media, way too many lunatics have access to it. I am all from friendly banter, which I know can sometimes get heated but that’s part and parcel of football. Unfortunately some people think that if folk do podcasts etc it makes them fair game, like they think it’s alright to shout anything they like at players and are surprised when players bark back at them. There is a line that shouldn’t be crossed and threatening to kidnap someone’s child is most definitely that line. As could be seen after the TNS game we have some zoomers in our fan base, hopefully when they grow up they will regret and be embarrassed by their actions. I am sure most Falkirk fans would feel the same.
