  1. Sean Mackie has been excellent since he came back in and I’ve gone from having him on the release list to being one I would definitely offer a contract. Same with Ethan Ross, I would try to get him if he is happy to join. I’m not saying they would be first 11 but you know when they come off the bench or have to come in due to injuries we can more than rely on them to do a good job.
  2. I think it is so wrong to single out a player of the year this season, this full squad has been immense and they all deserve recognition. We should just give a team of the year award this season. I’ve always said that the Jeffries season was my best in 50 years of following the Bairns but I think this tops it. I love this team and for anyone saying it’s only League One I will say go f**k yourself, you can only beat what is in front of you and we have done that all season.
  3. I think with keepers when they are young you never really see the best of them and more often than not any mistake they make leads to a goal. Nicky is fine if we bring in an older more experienced keeper and he learns from them. There are very few keepers who are the finished article at his age.
  4. Two year deal for Hogarth, no issues with this if an experienced keeper is coming in.
  5. Did they not all get out in the tunnel during The Great Escape?
  6. His video for the cup victory against Dundee Utd was excellent, loved the young team running down the stairs when Callumn scored our 4th that night, I’d have broke my bloody neck.
  7. Got to feel for a lot of they seats at TFS today, they aren’t used to being empty when there is a team in Navy Blue on the pitch.
  8. I thought for the amount of game time he’s had Bisland wasn’t that bad. It’s difficult to judge any player when they have hardly played at all.
  9. A legend to me might not be a legend to others. I see Scott McKenzie as a Falkirk legend, due to the service he gave the club and him always putting in a 7/8 out of 10 performance, he is probably one of my favourite players of all time but never really gets a mention when fans talk about the past. I see Scott in the same way I see Leon this season in terms of how reliable they are. If anyone, especially younger fans see Callumn as a legend then that’s up to them and I certainly won’t argue against it.
  10. Was speaking to my Hibs supporting friend tonight and he thinks they would be easy to deal with for Tait. He doesn’t see him getting game time there and doesn’t think any fee would be required to get him, fingers crossed we can do something, thought he was excellent today.
  11. Bet the greasy weasel took off five subs and didn’t bother replacing them, the horrible wee c**t, f**k you Hartley were Goni win the league.
  12. I love them to bits, first seen them in 1982 and wouldn’t like to even try and guess how many times I’ve seen them since. Fair doos I suppose, I was sober on Wednesday night and might have appreciated the break if I’d been on the drink. I just didn’t think they were at their best on Wed but it doesn’t stop me looking forward to the Bandstand gig in August. Very jealous, you are lucky getting VIP tickets.
  13. Just listened to it and thought it was excellent. I’ve heard a few stories from folk that have met Pressley about how nice a person he is and the story regarding Tam’s wages underlines that.
  14. I might be just getting really old but I’d fully support venues shutting bars while the band are on. We went to the Usher Hall a few years ago for James and they did it and I thought it worked well. We were to the side last night for the Bunnymen and spent most of the night moving to let folk past for bar access. As I say though I’m no spring chicken and that idea will not please all.
  15. Just in from the Bunnymen at the Barras, not the best I’ve seen them, too many pished folk and the 20 mins break mid set was a load of bollocks, maybe I’m just getting old.
  16. I’m the same, away top, retro top, polo shirt and full home toddler kit for my Grandaughter. All really good quality and they even sent me replacement shorts for the wee ones kit as they had an Ayr Utd badge on the tag inside, I hadn’t even noticed. Agree with all the comments, in terms of quality O’Neill are up there with the best.
  17. Had the original, just ordered the retro, a thing of true loveliness
  18. Frankly the Smiths in Falkirk tonight and the Bunnymen at the Barrowlands on Wednesday, should be a good week.
