I think it’ll end up being Saturday morning only soon with the more ambitious amateur sides trying to join WOSFL if they have or can get the facilities
If that’s up the other end and not given you’d be on here saying it’s embarrassing how it wasn’t given. The ref is 5 yards away and called it correctly.
EK Thistle have taken a couple of doings within the last week. Expected them to be much better than that with some of the experienced players they’ve recruited for this season
If this was any other company or podcast involved here the guys on the Open Goal would be all over it taking the p*ss. I am interested to see how it pans out though and how much financial backing there will be. Si should be able to attract good players if the money is there. Good luck to them but it is a bit farcical.
I only watched the highlights too and like you say can’t really fault his performance from them. In previous games I have watched him he seems to have been very card happy and continuously stopping the game. There did seem to be a number of bookings on Monday night but most were justified. Maybe I’ve caught him on his off days but if he’s refereeing Darvel/Talbot and Pollok/Talbot he must be highly rated.
What’s the name of last nights referee? I’ve seen him on a few occasions this season and think he’s been pretty poor, was surprised to see he was in charge last night considering the importance of the match.
To prevent it being reversed next week. Should have just played it at Loudoun or St Joes last week like they have done all season. Predict a close game tomorrow especially with the conditions forecast
With the money they pay they shouldn’t be running scared of teams. Good chance grass pitches will be off again next week so it could end up on 3G in 2 weeks time. Why waste 2 saturdays for the game to end up on 3G anyway. Just get the game played instead of causing a pile up of fixtures come April/May
