  1. Perhaps to escape your carping? Thankfully thistle don't have many supporters ( sic ) like you.
  2. Excellent words by Tom Hosie. I think both the board and the working group are trying to move on, but each time they do unremitting negative events surround us and of course the country. I'd rather we fought our corner as best we can rather than say nowt.
  3. So its only you that is free thinking and those who choose to support the team through the go fund me site are not free thinking? There are hundreds of people on there so they are all gullible idiots?
  4. So finding comfort by slagging off your fan base is ok? How is that a meaningful debate? I'm venting my spleen so I don't see the problem. Quid pro quo.
  5. Agreed. It is brainless to think that your viewpoint is the only one in town and the views of fans on FB and other forums is beneath contempt. Oh the arrogance.
  6. What personal attack. Read the thread and you will see plenty of attacks on your fellow fans. Sounds like you're awfy sensitive
  7. Reg: If you want to join the People's Front of Judea ( P and B brach ), you have to really hate J LOW/ Board/ Thistle fans Brian: I do! Reg: Oh yeah, how much? Brian: A lot! Reg: Right, you're in.
  8. I wondered which member of the People's front of Judea ( P and B Branch: Membership 3 ) would bite first. Whine, whine, whine we want a statement/ we don't want a statement/sack the board/sack McCall/ its all Britton's fault/ sue the SPL/ don't sue the SPL/ put the USH on/ Switch aff the USH. ad infinitm.... If your going to whine expect the counter argument, assuming the PFJ allow it.
  9. A more than decent section of our support equally cannot abide the malcontents who are happy to pour oil on the situation, while blind to a world wide pandemic that has impacted on our club and many others. Quid pro quo. If your hate for the board and many of its fans, why bother apart from whining incessantly about it?
  10. Dare I suggest with the injury list we have it would be better to take any advantage we have? Game will be off anyhow
  11. My own view for what it is worth is a) the cost of USH and b) our injury list particularly up front. Either or a combination suits me. No statement from PTFC required
  12. I didn't say we couldn't afford it. I said we didn't have too spend it under the circumstances.
  13. Pretty obvious it was the right thing not to to spend money we don't have to in these economically challenging times. Only the most pedantic among our support would not see this. Do we really need a full statement when it's patently obvious that the club decided not to put two bars on the fire on? I can imagine the club putting out a statement and some pedant then moaning about the statement lmao.
  14. Maybe dundee are making wage cuts to fund Dundee United's arbitration costs. Gotta love that sporting integrity.
  15. Surely the dundee united owner could easily fund the costs? Is he not a multi millionaire. Arbitration the only way to sort this irrespective of the cost. It is let us not forget all about establishing whether football integrity has in fact been applied fairly and legally.
  16. Premier League clubs shouldn't be relegated if season isn't completed - Brighton owner - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52339058
  17. It's fair to say that we may have voted YES. However as a fan of football I would have lambasted it for the exact same reasons as many non PTFC fans have. Of course being fitba other fans will take the chance to put the boot in, but at the same time knowing the decision to relegate us in these circumstances is corrupt. With regard to thistle fans glorifying this you either cant read or are being deliberately selective.
  18. I never said the moral high ground was particularly high. However I think everyone can agree ( well most ) that our case is particularly harsh.
  19. The statement was all about retaining a sense of decency during the crisis. Let's call it the moral high ground. A place that few clubs can aspire too. No matter what PTFC will come through it.
  20. Dundees bottle went first. Your board and chairman are the laughing stock of UK football. Fact.
