  1. Why was Rawlins involved when they were no longer on the board?
  2. Can you share the Navy Blue proposal? Would be keen to see what they offered to get a balanced view. I guess with their investment would come a change in youth development, DoF and Manager? Is the £600k an initial investment with further add ons? Was there significant knowledge of running football clubs involved? And by that I don’t mean running gang clubs like Livi or Hamilton but actual clubs with ethics and morals
  3. They seem dead against it so I would suspect it’s their way to try and set the fans up for a fall. Will tune in tonight for the confirmed results.
  4. As a director, Lex has a duty to do what is right by the club. If there is a conflict of interest, ie refusing the resolution for his own financial gain, then he could be in hot water
  5. I’d heard that the official group had been presented to different groups, like bus conveners, patrons etc. From what I’ve heard it’s not a revival of the BtB, but something that will go next to the board. KJ doesn’t appear to be involved, though DW has been mentioned in the communication
  6. Is this Alan Gow/Lex which has already been covered?
  7. Any other updates to this? Surely Lex shares aren’t enough for him to make a difference
  8. Had a peek through down at the stadium today and saw BainsfordBairn taking photos of someone! Who was it BainsfordBairn?
  9. Like the ambiguity around how much money went to the club from the face masks? Must’ve had an inkling if the club needed cash when that deal was brokered?
  10. Thanks for the info. I’ll try and get involved next time!
  11. Yet another Brian Guthrie show... Pretty sure I overheard Gary Deans mention to Lex that his Bannatynes membership was to be cancelled to nullify leaks
  12. Good few cars already turning in at the stadium.
  13. Those emails were even less watertight than the current board. I’d be confident more than KB was involved in reporting back to the BOD
  14. If it wasn’t bad enough, Fergus the Fox has now chucked it!
  15. You would see Kevin at games out talking to fans and staff, providing a real link between the two. He seemed to face up to everything but has been forced out for some reason.
  16. Noticed on social media. AGM tomorrow could be tasty
  17. Kevin Beattie: To my fellow Falkirk fans, It is with much sadness and regret that I hereby resign from my role as non-executive director of Falkirk Football Club. As a lifelong passionate supporter of the club, it has been a tremendous honour and a privilege to have served on the board for the past 6 months. However, due to the totally unacceptable bullying treatment I have been subjected to by some of my fellow directors, I have no alternative but to leave my position. Being physically threatened by a fellow board member in the presence of other board members and the team manager is certainly not something I expected when I agreed to join the board. In over 30 years of full-time employment, I have never witnessed this type of behaviour or been treated in this manner and I am very surprised this conduct and attitude seems to be condoned by the rest of the board. Also, during the recent managerial turmoil, I was given no support whatsoever over the social media episode when I seem to have been found guilty of an action I did not commit. The result of this is that I have been thrown under the bus as a sacrificial scapegoat by members of the board to protect their own self-important status. During my time on the board, there have been various stories which have been leaked from the board room, including the previous interim chairman telling anyone who would listen to him that Mark Campbell was “The new Craig Whyte” during the early days of the proposed takeover. From my perspective, that type of thing is highly unprofessional but sums up the current level of integrity at the club. My aim on joining the board was to try to improve the fans perception of the board and foster a better relationship with the fans. Sadly, I have to admit to failing to achieve this and will now revert back to being a fan and part of the true lifeblood of the club. To say I am extremely disappointed at the treatment I have received from fellow board members would be an understatement to say the least. I am delighted however we have a true professional in Gary Deans who hopefully can stabilise the ship and take things forward. Finally, I will now utilise my spare time to support Strathcarron Hospice who at least value my spare time greatly. COYB
  18. Good to see Miller and McCracken react to sendings off etc. They gave boys a chance and they took it. I need to see Telfers red again but it looked like he had no intention of winning the ball. Frustated we haven’t won, but again we’ve not lost ground
  19. We should be on the front foot from the first minute. Defending in their half, not letting them out. Dont care the formation, but 2 holding/defensive mids should never happen again in this division - As much as I like David and Lee, they’ve proved nothing so far. This is yet another gamble that the MSG hope will work out. The next gamble is getting a rid of the fans Director before he finds out too much
