Massive having a reliable keeper after years of sub standard stuff. Class finish from McCowan. Bakay was very good though probably should have been subbed on 70 as seemed to have nothing in the tank towards the end when they needed closing down. Boateng really stepped up in the last half hour. Robinson should score. Won a lot of good ball but not really clicking for him atm.

Just get the midfield carthorses to give Lovable Lyall the ball. Job done.

Think Byrne was one of our top earners so imagine Raith are paying a percentage. Byrne is a case of a player who DOESN'T do what it says on the tin.

Most of them were just paid up and left.....supposedly anyway....always seemed odd to me to be paying them off. For instance Mendy signed a 2 year deal. Did we really pay him up 18 months? or a lump sum. Was there a "if yer shite" clause, we can get rid of you"?

He was absolutely stinking in a lot of games and shouting at the other players and mouthing off in the press only gets you so much slack. Can't help liking him though as at times he could come up with the goods and there are very few that will get 300 apps for us. The amount of rubbish players he played with over 10 years probably heightens his reputation in comparison. Was one of the first to take a wage cut during covid I think.

Would have liked to see Jak stay only if Robinson was signing but not bothered otherwise. Would have liked McMullan to stay. Hoping Legz is just backup.

He might be signed up as backup (doubt it) but no doubt he will still play 30 plus games as whoever else we get in will be shite or injured. It's always the way. I'm sure Tony has seen him play plenty over the years so knows exactly what he is getting. Two year deal suggests he may have had another offer.
