  1. Miles away, shit view, shit facilities, awful football , terrible weather - I don't know why anyone would want to go to this when there are so many much better things to spend time and money on but I take my hat off to those who are prepared to suffer through it all.

I know. We’ve incorporated a few things in too so a wee weekend away from it as opposed to just going up and down on one day. Going to the prison museum before the game, sunday a wee trip along Banffshire before back home.
  2.
Sounds like a lot of pent up emotion and I can totally relate to that. Whilst not having a greet at the bells (was with friends, kids all there etc), me and the wife had a wee greet in the wee hours of New Years Day once we were home.

2019 started with us going through a miscarriage and then my father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer in April. (Which, on a cheerier note he appears to have beaten and is in remission with positive feedback from the last few doctors appointments). Going back to New Years Day, I think the wee greet was partly due to having had a great night with good friends and a few drinks, but also a lot of emotion reflecting back on the year we’ve had, whilst also saying goodbye and f**k you to 2019 and hoping for a far better stress-free 2020.

So whilst the events in our lives have been different, I don’t think how we were feeling within ourselves was too dissimilar.

It’s brilliant you have someone like that. You’re both able to share your emotions like that. I’m sorry to hear about the miscarriage, That’s a horrific thing for anyone to deal with. I’m glad your father in law is on the up and I hope 2020 is a much better year for you all mate.
  3. Solidify a defence that has conceded *checks notes* just 12 goals in 20 games? When the next best defence has conceded 23?
We don't need to solidify our defence. We need creativity up front. Signing Cristophe Berra would be a massive, massive waste of money.

I don’t disagree that on paper our defence is solid, but out of those twelve goals plenty have come from defensive mishaps. I don’t think we need a whole new defence, but we need rid of the weakest link.
  4. Another BMW today, cut up the jnside and tried to force his was in. Then pulled up beside me at red lights asking what’s wrong. I told him are you fucking stupid you almost crashed into the door my daughter is sitting at and you endangered her safety you fucking idiot.

His response, aye well I didn’t crash into you get out the fucking car.

My response, no chance I’m not going to act like a moron In front of my bairn.

  5. Got to admit from that first game i seen him against Livi when the ball was rolliing to an empty net but recovered he has came on leaps and bounds for those i think it was Arbroath supporters that said he will never be a keeper for his age he's come on leaps and bounds and has a bright future ahead and seems to have his head screwed on right as far as attitude goes i.e. not a Darren Hill and wants to jump through a windae type of player

Good old darren “he snorts to the left” hill
  6. Looking forward to this, hotel booked, going up with the mrs and wee one for the night. Proper wee night away.

Hopefully rounded off with a solid victory for falkirk too. Just hope the rain stays off seeing as there is no cover for standing. But, having lived in Aberdeen for five and a bit years, and having had to commute to Peterhead for work, I know that there is every possibility it will...

  7. Actually thought the lass done alright and put the men to shame, one she should have called was the Dumbarton corner but that was more the ref thinking mutch got a hand to it when he didn’t.

Aye when it’s the opposite side it’s the refs call and she just went with him. Didn’t set a foot wrong all game.
  8. Again, we seem to be overlooking the fact that esteemed judges have got it wrong in numerous criminal cases before, with “rapists” wrongfully having their lives completely ruined as a result.

It could have been pre-meditated, it could have been opportunistic, it could have been nobody was in a position to consent, it could have been completely made up. We will probably never know.

But I’m not willing to demonise somebody ‘on the balance of probablilties’ like most of the flock of melts on here.

And what esteemed legal position do you hold and what years of legal experience do you have to be considered to become a judge? Compared to the judge that ran the civil suit and the three appeal judges? I know who my bet is on...and it’s not you only live twice.

Not denying judges get it wrong, that’s why there is an appeal process, the odds of four judges getting it wrong within their legal remit is very unlikely.
