  1. Yes, sorry I meant when Forfar were 1-0 up, we went through and scored past keeper for 2-0 but it was ruled out
  2. First 20 minutes, Forfar bossed it. Played properly with the conditions, kept it on the ground and scored from a great delivery. But then sat off. we needed to get bobby barr on the ball a lot more. Looked very good today. Bad injury to Travis, hope not as serious as it looked. Coupe isn’t good enough in my opinion, offered little when he came on, would much rather baino. Great work rate from Doris for 90 minutes but needs more help. I Slate him often enough so it’s only fair that I praise him today, Gary Irvine was man of the match for me today. Never missed a tackle, never gave the ball away, kept moving us forward. Mention to Jamie Hamill also, he absolutely ran the game for Stranraer today. Never liked the guy at hearts, killie etc but he was exceptional today Overall, lucky to come away with a point I think. Offside goal in first half looked onside, and they had a huge shout for a penalty when stanger wiped their player out late on.
  3. Agree with bernardblack. Could either be a goal fest or a 0-0 i fancy a 3-2 away win
  4. Anyone who has Forfar to beat Raith needs their heads checked. We’re grim
  5. With the half way mark of the season here , I’m looking at what would represent a good second half of the season at FAFC. We sit 9th, after picking up a massive 3 points in Wigtownshire on Saturday past. Stranraer look doomed, but I remember in the not too distant past, the hedgecutters were also “dead and buried” at this stage of the season, they caught us, we went down, they survived and then won promotion the following year! Looking at the turnaround since Malcs took over fills me with some optimism. January will be pivotal if we are to stay up. Montrose on 28th of this month is a huge game. 3 points here and we give ourselves a huge chance of survival. But with away days at Airdrie and Falkirk, sandwiched with a home tie V Raith, points will be hard to come by. The defence seems stronger since the change of Managment. Even though Dumbarton gave us 4, they were all great strikes, fault cant be placed at the defenders door for that. We are now scoring for fun, and hopefully can surprise the big boys at the top. I don’t see Stranraer picking up more than 3 points a month but we need to get ourselves up the league. Is is it too unrealistic to hope to be around 4th place come May? Time will tell. Right now, survival is enough
  6. Thanks for trying to bail us out mate, but we were shit for 90+ minutes. Enjoy the highlights of yet another Forfar self destruction. Easiest points you’ll get all season
  7. Don’t think either team played at all well today but fair enough. I dont know what bain has to do to get in that team. A player as good as him on the bench every week is a joke. Wasting away. Nicest lad at the club, one of the hardest workers and always gives you something going forward and defensively. I get why you’d want him back.
  8. I almost don’t want to criticise the effort from starting xi today. I think by saying they didn’t try hard enough covers for the transplant lack of ability in that squad. Getting worse week after week. Anything less than 0-4 next week will be a relief. Montrose will be must win for JW
  9. Hilson wasn’t even fit today and still put in a bigger shift than the rest of the players. First half both teams were garbage. Second half airdrie improved.......fractionally. But we crumbled. The squad is nowhere near good enough. Kirkpatrick, Forbes, mclean, macphee, Irvine, tapping, burns have all been shocking. Lets not not beat around the bush. Squad not good enough to finish higher than bottom 3 or 4
