  1. I think I’m in the minority here, but I didn’t think it was a penalty for Livingston. Even taking my blue tinted glasses off, he lost his footing and had nowhere to go imo. He’s a good honest lad so I’m sure it was indeed accidental. Hope this clarifies the issue.
  2. Biscuits on the radio after the game on Saturday was bigging up this narrative. Comparing us to the team who won the cups last season. Defending for our lives etc. That’s nonsense from Biscuits to be honest. We played a lot more football last season, good football and defended well. Granted we didn’t score enough goals for our liking but it wasn’t nick a goal then backs to the wall for 80 minutes.
  3. Agree. I hope this isn’t the attitude going forward or it’ll be torture!
  4. Totally agree with this. There is a safety risk there. Not sure if it’s the club or the police. Suspect it will be the club as still connected to a sporting event and would be included in the planning I’d have thought. Either way it’ll come down to money the club don’t feel they need to spend and/or lack of police resources available. Oh and it was miles quicker for the car park to clear when they had traffic control on the Crieff Road!
  5. Am I not right in saying there’s some kind of procedure they do every season where the top of the pitch gets skimmed and grass gets re-seeded? It’s clearly not working. Remember the original pitch laid at McDiarmid. It was always really good. I’m sure they called it some kind of supergrass from USA. I’m pretty sure it was easily maintained and not replaced for many years until it started to show signs of wear. Why we couldn’t get the same again I don’t know. Then again, this was also when we got USH which at the time seemed to cause havoc on the pitches in Scotland. I still refuse to believe Dens can look like a carpet for most of the season and ours up the road looks like a ploughed field. We must be doing something wrong.
  6. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/8535097/kilmarnock-sacking-tommy-wright-management/ Tommy speaking in the media about a return to management or some other type of role. Would we bring him back to help Callum?
  7. The ironic thing is we hardly ever manage to keep the ball for long. We’re terrible at keeping possession and terrible at any meaningful attacking possession. We’ll win it occasionally in midfield then pass it back to the centre half’s who pass it about a bit then it gets punted up the park to nobody in particular
  8. I feel the exactly the same. I want him to be able to turn it round but just can’t see it. He’s putting out a team that doesn’t look like they even know how to try to score goals.
  9. I don’t get it either. He fancies himself as the next David Beckham but unfortunately he’s absolutely shit.
  10. Don’t agree with this. The boy is a tank and has won a decent amount in the air in his limited time on the pitch. He had the Rangers tank Bassey bouncing off him in a couple of challenges. Definite problem for opposition defences to worry about. Not sure about his mobility or footballing ability however. It would be nice if he was to ever get more than a late cameo sub appearance. Should offer something different upfront.
  11. That Rangers were so poor makes it even more frustrating. We never looked like doing anything at all. I thought we were absolutely honking apart from maybe Hendry who’s touch was excellent. That’s about it. We need to either get Zander back or if he’s not going to be fit we must get a half decent free agent keeper or we’ll probably be doomed.
  12. Rangers have looked nervy at the back but we’ve not been there to capitalise. Need more bodies in the danger area, especially at set pieces.
  13. Well surprisingly, we’re well in this game. Just a shame we lost such a horrendous goal at the start.
  14. Yes you’ll be happy that your super negative prediction is coming true. Well done.
  15. Yep. Surely Sinclair isn’t as bad a keeper as El Paz is he?
  16. I’d go with that except Middleton instead May. Unless he’s injured?
  17. I liked the look of Charlie Gilmour last night. Composed and some nice touches. Looking to move us forward. So that was a positive. That’s all I’ve got, sorry.
  18. Not sure where you’re getting the bogey team thing from. We’ve been better than St Mirren for a number of seasons and now that we’re struggling this season, St Mirren still can’t beat us so we’re now your bogey team? Ok…
  19. We’ll see. I’m confident we can get a good run going. Although admittedly we need others to falter.
  20. I’m loving the sudden confidence St Mirren fans have now that they have managed to be above us in the league for part of a season. Very much looking forward to the end of the season when we pip them to 10th place on the last day.
  21. Well on the one hand, it’s another point and we’re looking much more of a team than the debacle that’s been the first half of the season. And plenty of new players to still come in. However I can’t help think if we’d been more positive after the red card we could still have won as it was pretty obvious United weren’t up to much. We dropped back into survival mode as if we were two or three players down rather than one which is a bit baffling really. I’d rather have seen Middleton on instead of MacPherson who is still honking. Finally, sad times if that’s a red card. The guy committed two fouls in the game and neither were bad fouls. You’ve got other players committing more fouls in the game and escaping without bookings. Ridiculous and ruined a half decent game.
