being of a certain age i have memories of the bad old days when scottish players used to get pissed the night before they played for scotland. they were an embarasment to their country and let us all down from time to time. but even rat arsed they were so much better than the rubbish we have to watch these days , you had iran,peru and costa rico fiascos, on the other hand we had glory days against england the world champions , torn apart at wembley by our piss artists, holland beaten 3-2 and brazil hammered 0-0 in 1974. i for 1 miss the bad old days
