  1. So basically Bristol Rovers played Ayr United in a friendly at Somerset in 2003. Obviously over the years we played loads of English teams in friendlies but I liked something about Bristol Rovers. Kept in contact with a few of their fans. They were playing the next month at Carlisle so went to that game. Then the love affair started from there. Get down and watch them as much as possible. Mainly in the North of England. Rather than get a flag for each team, I ended up getting both teams on it. I respect that it might not be for everyone but it definitely stands out and leads to some interestingconversations. Even better when I'm down in England. They love it!
  2. Great result! Great goal from McCowan, good to see Moore and McGuffie scoring aswell!
  3. Is it free parking? Normally park behind the goal in the car park. Is that better to park there then?
  4. The guy has been in the job since Tuesday. We have lost the last 2 games previous to the game tonight. Give him a chance. The players on the other hand. Given the performances we have been giving when McCall was here and even at Abroath. What has happened since then?
  5. Doesn't matter. McGowan reacted and should have went for it!
  6. Shaping up to be a decent game given both teams last two results!
  7. Didn't expect Mark Kerr to be manager but given some of the names mentioned for the job I'm happy. Fair play to him, let's give him a chance and see what he does. It's not as if it's been an over night decision. It's been in the making for the last few years for him. Too many people shouting him down before he has even had a chance. Genuinely hope he does well!
  8. Really frustrating game. Cant believe we didn't at least get a draw. Think we lacked in the 1st half until we got our 1st goal. 2nd half we played a lot better, good coming forward. Don't understand why McCowan came off for Doolan. Would have been much better with McGuffie. Had to laugh at the Dunfermline players celebrating their 1st goal in front of the Ayr fans. Sad really! Roll on next week till we got a new manager. Badly needing it!
  9. Any Pars fans recommend any decent pubs close to the ground? Also a good sit in chip shop?
  10. Looking forward to the weekend. Hopefully a win tomorrow and find out who the new manager is on Monday.
