Our Board need to start growing the fanbase, not pricing to discourage attendance, and start making more contact with local communities.
It’s almost like you ran out of cliches there...0 -
Looking at the league tables the wee team from Edinburgh has lost more games than the MIGHTY RAITH ROVERS GTUPY Fanny Fudge. [emoji13]. Can we play you every week? Stuck up fannies I love it when we put it right up them,Rangers,Celtic,Hibs,Hearts even the scum from the west of Fife this is what football's all about. Please let us back in soon.
That was a difficult read even for the Rovers fans!5 -

So, none of the squad have trained at all during the isolation period?
I’ve got it on good authority that they’ve been doing double sessions of Joe Wicks all week!1 -
At least we know Robbie Thomson won’t have it! He hasn’t caught anything all season!

Hopefully he missed getting a Dream Ring up north and instead is currently boosting up the A9.
I can vouch for those! Harry Gows!0 -
How far is Vaughan away from a return? I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned on any of the interviews.

No cash to bring in an extra body, pity I'd like to see another left back who can play centre half or left wing.......a Kieran McDonald clone would actually be ideal!
Has that been confirmed somewhere Scotty? I’d be disappointed if that was the case. Was hoping for at least a loanee!0 -
As much as I’ll be gutted if the game is off, blaming the pars for not running a hugely expensive USH system when there’s hardly any income coming in, is a bit over the top.
Push this game back as far towards the end of the season as possible and hope that the vaccine has worked well enough to allow fans back in the ground so we can all enjoy a derby in the proper way!3 -
Will that fit on a bed sheet?
It’s just a shame I can only press thumbs up on that once!0 -
Unreal that Rovers team took it to within the last 3 games of the season. Team of absolute jobbers. Mark Ferry ffs.
Mark Ferry was like Zidane when you compare him to some of the players we’ve had since.0 -
I liked when raith dropped the best keeper in the league and played a midget and lost the league as a result.
And played Simmons and Walker on the wings!
I like the conspiracy theory that we couldn’t afford to be promoted so threw the game over the more realistic one that Mcglynn completely lost the plot.0 -
We have only lost 2 games, against teams we have played twice and both times they shut down our midfield both times and there seems to be no plan B whch is worrying. If other teams sus us out this has all the hallmarks of the Gary Locke season !!
Time to lay off that Xmas drink mate0 -
Same regarding lokotsch. Ugwu has been injured/ regaining fitness. That and duku being on form has meant he hasn't had a look in.
I’d imagine we will wee Ugwu on Tuesday, assuming Duku is out that is.0 -
Lokotsch should have impressed against Ayr. He didn't. He showed some glimpses and held the ball at times, but a player of that level should be able to stand out in the championship.
I think Loko looks the type of player that needs to be playing in a two. He doesn’t seem to fit the lone striker role. From what I’ve seen of him, he likes to drop deep, run the channels etc. As someone else said, he’s been a stop gap signing.3 -
Put a fit Tom Walsh, Paddy Reading and returning Cammy Smith into tonight's team, and I suspect we'll finish above the Lang Toun Galacticos come the end of the season.
Calm down pal. We’ve still got Davo to come back.....0 -
Not confident about this one. The last time I saw us win at Ayr was when the big guy on loan from Wimbledon scored in a 0-1 win! Can’t for the life of me remember his name??
I think Hendry needs a rest in this one, has looked lazy with his passing in the last couple of games. I’d bring Spencer in for him.0 -

The quicker we all get vaccinated and get back to the games the better. I for one am fed up with sitting in my house watching a not to good picture of the team I support and whoever we are playing. Not the best but what alternative do we have just now. Roll on February when it's my turn to get the jab.
February for you eh? When does your alter ego Zico get his?0 -
I think people should be allowed to sign a disclaimer and then just attend games again. Thats the way forward.
The already almost full hospitals may have a thing or two to say about that but that’s a chat for another day!1 -
One aspect where I do think the club and Raith TV have to take a bit of stick for is how little we must be generating from sponsorship/advertising on the streams. With up to 10,000 people potentially watching this game you’d think a local company or two might be more than keen to have their logo plastered above the score board as, for example, Dundee United do or pay for an advertisement to be displayed during the dead air time before the live broadcast starts or at half time. It’s free money for us. It wouldn’t cost us anything for doing it. I don’t know if there’s a reluctance there from the Raith TV guys being volunteers or whatever but you can’t help feel we should be doing more, probably a better strategy for generating revenue than charging an extra couple of quid for the Pars game.
A logo above the scoreboard wouldn’t work. The camera is beside the scoreboard, folk wouldn’t see it....0 -
Speaking to my da about what he wanted for Christmas and asked him if he wanted the Val McDermid book, he said, if shes the rovers woman, then of course not.
It's the level of pettiness I live for any Raith fans unable to get SRJ windows, a steak bridie or a Carron bathroom due to their association with Dunfermline?
Love this. I actually do feel a bit guilty going into Stephens. More so now that they are opening up in Kirkcaldy! Must have been what it was like for Wallace and Bruce back in the day when the English were taking Scottish towns!1 -
Beaten by ease by the better side. Not much to add.
