There's been a rumour since summer of Reynolds joining us. Is this him leaving Dundee United and coming to Cove?

Given he had a major knee injury on the day the pitch was opened by Aberdeen I'm not sure how quickly he'd be returning to the ground regularly.

Unless there's a reason he's given to change his opinion I'd put this in the unlikely category for just now.

Blair scoops player of the month for December. An unsung hero of our team at times but truly a fantastic player with great pace and work-rate.

No surprise that he's shone given he's been playing in his more natural central midfield position. He, along with Fyvie, have been key to our success as of late.

The clubs headline on their news article about it sounded quite surprised.  Maybe because he's from the old Cove the club don't appreciate his abilities.

Agree, at 1-0 up we looked in the ascendency and I didn't see Montrose scoring. Frustrating to concede a pen and drop 2 points. In the end we didn't take enough of our chances when we broke their defensive line and a draw was almost about right.

We lacked some width or more to the point a winger who wanted to take on their FB and hit that byline.

Yeah the fans Facebook page is very quiet. Anyone who talks out appears to get booted out sadly.

Good to see McKenzie back in the sticks, where he deserves, but we can't get our best back 4 on the pitch at all let alone consistently. Thought Morgyn player his best game for us. I'm not a fan of his it must be said.

We need to ruthlessly close out games when we are ahead if we're going to be serious title challengers otherwise playoffs will be our best hope

1-0 is never enough, unfortunately a far cry from the days where 1-0 was just the start.  Though if you take players out with that mentality, the mentality changes within the team.

We definitely need to go on a strong run otherwise play offs will be the best we can hope for.  A tricky pre season with a lot of players missing, but a strong youth development department would've allowed the club to cope with the issues.

McKenzie being back is a no brainer and long may he stay in the starting xi.  Gourlay hasn't played at the levels he ahs without having something, but he's not going to keep out last seasons goalkeeper of the year out the team with his performances of late.

A lack of honest engagement on the clubs social media platforms will only hurt them and it's shame that opinions are not welcome.  Gate paying supporters should be able to voice their views.

Grow up. Some of us have been watching Rory for years . His diving is legendary as you’ll soon find out.

Nothing at all to do with the number of penalties Cowden have had.

And who is greeting? Someone asked if he was still getting  soft penalties. He does have problems keeping his feet in the box.

If it's legendary you'd think officials would've got wise to it by now and cut it out.

It's ironic hearing Cowden fans moan about decision given the gifts you got in the play off.  These things even themselves out.

Happy to be corrected re "conceding" although I don't remember what you think you saw, but Cove's timewasting was shocking. People don't pay their cash to see players step over the ball and slap it away rather than getting on with the game.

Did Cove lack urgency to get the ball in play towards the end, yes, but as I said it wasn't any worse than the Queens Park time wasting when it was 0-0.

It didn't change the outcome of the game.

Now you know why they are so popular.

Their chairman was at the helm of the SFA while they plotted to steal Hampden from us for a quid; it's unlikely we would warm to them.

The Cove chairman hasn't held a position at Hampden.

To be fair your keeper should've been booked for the time he wasted before you conceded.

Not sure you quite understand why players waste time; generally it's not while you're losing.

Funny I said before you conceded.  Your boys looked happy to waste as much as possible when it was 0-0.  Great sign of confidence in your own ability.

Cove wasted less time in the last 5 than your mob did in the first 20.

The tackle by Fyvie was an assault with no attempt to play the ball and was very clearly a red card, up to that point the Ref had had a good game. Hartely then got involved with our supporters and his team with only 10 men started to waste time and take the piss out of the Ref with their time wasting. When we lost that last minute goal Hartley lost his head as did their Directors. They and Hartely were a disgrace to football by their behaviour at the end of the game.

To be fair your keeper should've been booked for the time he wasted before you conceded.

the cowden anti-cove feelings are really tiresome, what are your criteria for a 'welcome addition to the spfl'?  the pyramid gives well managed, well funded and ambitious teams a chance to break through (if they want it) what are you afraid of?

They are gutted that almost every club would've rather seen them go at our expense and are struggling to get over that.

A small issue perhaps but reflects on the Cove attitude to other Clubs. I was told today that Cowdenbeath were not supplied any food after last weeks game and initially thought it was a petty response to the play off shenanigans but turns out no club that has visited this season has received post match food after games at Cove.

i know we feed every Club with pizzas after a match. Surely the millionaire owner of cove could afford a pizza for far travelled Clubs players. It’s not a good way to introduce yourselves to the spfl and smacks of disrespect.

That must be something new.  The club used to always provide pizza's and the like.  Though I doubt cove would be alone in this.
